Y know

It occurs (yet again) to me that the Israeli-Palestinian issue shows the complete and utter failure of the UN.

They’ve kept the issue from being resolved for years, yet they’ve also done nothing about the “Plight” of the “Palestinians” over those same years.

It’s almost like they want the issue to continue.

The Palestinians,, during that time, have helped terror groups hide amongst them, have totally trashed the areas set aside for them, have mismanaged the resources of their areas (aquifers, for but one example), have failed to do anything but breed more “Settlers” and have never done anything productive or constructive. And the UN had always made excuses for them.

And they are doing so again. Any other ethnic group that made war on another would have at least some condemnation by the UN, but these people instead are not. In fact, the UN is totally useless to both sides. Decrying the violence being meted out by Israel against the cancer that Gaza has become all the while failing to stop the attacks against Israel….and letting the funding for those groups (Hamas) doing the attacking continue.

Again and again, the UN shows us no reason to continue funding them and their exorbitant costs…and occupying some really expensive land and buildings in New York City…and every reason to end them as a working body….at least on the dime of the US, anyway. Let Brussels fund them.

Double standards for Rich Kids and Liberals….

‘Tis funny, those folks who did Blackface, or made what today are “racially insensitive” comments back in college 20 or more years ago are slammed today….castigated for them, and statements or actions from 20 years ago can be dredged up today and affect your employment status, your social standing, your ability to be a judge or a governor,  etc.  (at least if you are not some of the darlings of the Liberals, anyway)

But we should be tolerant of the folks who made the statements supporting the terrorists of Hamas…because “the students should be able to make mistakes in college and learn and grow over time as they’re presented with more information

I could tell the difference between terrorism, mass murder, hate crimes and anti-Semitism long before college. I’d bet you could too, and so can kids in High School today. We generally knew “wrong” from “right”… Standards may have changed a bit, but still, there were lines where everyone know which side they wanted to be on.

Making excuses for these kids is agreeing with their stance. Failure to condemn their stance is horrible, and shows your bias. There is no excuse for these rich Harvard kids’ position on terrorist acts. Period. They should be blacklisted.

Can’t even find his way

So “Slow Joe” Biden cannot even find his way offstage at this point. Needs his wife to lead him.

One wonders who is actually running the country? Apparently Joe is nothing more than a figurehead.

And they aren’t even bothering to hide it anymore.

‘Tis sad that only the foreign press will show this. The fact that the Domestic American press, all of them, has suppressed the stories about this is shameful. And it shows that they are in the tank for the DNC folks.

Nope nope Nope

Like I need a GoldDigger….

So we did some balancing of the fuel regulator on the 340 to see if we could get a handle on why 2 cylinders seem to be overheating….

And then I took it up for a short test flight ….which showed we may be onto something.

But when I landed and taxiied back, there was a woman with a camera taking photos of planes in the hangar. As I was getting the tug so I could put the plane away, she asked me “Is this your plane or do you just fly it for someone else”?

I told her that it was, indeed my plane. (I assumed she was one of the many “Planespotters” we have hanging around the airport taking photos of planes. (Never figured out for sure how that works, but apparently the more planes you get photos of, the higher you stand among your peers or something)) She gushed about my 340, but I got the impression that she wasn’t that much of a plane person…

So then she introduced herself. I gave her my first name, and politely told her I needed to put the plane back before it rained.

She waited until I had done so, and, as I was putting the door down (you gotta hold the button in all the way down ) asked if she could take more photos of the 340 in the hangar and then asked me if I was married…..I replied no, I was not.

Then she winked at me, and told me that I looked like her third husband.

I asked her how many times she had been married.

She told me “Twice”. (Nothin’ like puttin’ it out there right up front!)

I luckily remembered that I suddenly had an appointment and had to leave. Damn, look at the time!

I got more than enough trouble with troublesome women in my life. Don’t need that. But I guess if yer that kind of girl, then places where people who have expensive toys is a good place to look…… I mean, I park my plane next to a million dollar (plus) Cirrus SR-22T and there are others there that are worth well in excess of a half million bucks…

So if the Arabs….

Decide they don’t like the US actions regarding support of Israel and cut off or restrict the oil….(and they might just do it….as the leadership of the Arab world is not that terribly enlightened when it comes to Palestine)

How’s that depletion of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve  by more than half gonna work out?

Thanks Joe.

(remember, most of the Hamas Leadership are guests of the Qatari government)

Rules for only one side?

President Joe Biden urged Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday to “follow the rules of war” after the Israeli prime minister vowed to destroy Hamas following the Palestinian militants’ brutal attack.

Who is making Hamas and their suppliers “Follow the rules of war”? Seems that they instead targeted civilians and used terror tactics….which means the gloves are off, as far as “Rules”.

Of course, they hide behind the civilians, then cry about civilian casualties. (And, of course, those civilians also shelter them, so there’s that).

I find it sorta amusing that the entire world wants to hobble the response by Israel, That they don’t want the sort of wrath that is deserved unleased upon the people that harbor, hide, supply and support the attackers.

If Hamas had done this to any European country, they’d not care about the Rules of War . There would be no rules enforced if they attacked New York, or Houston…..

As I learned a long time ago….”Don’t want none, Don’t Bring none”.
