Trying to buy your votes with your own oil

Biden is planning on selling even MORE SPR oil in October, for November Delivery, to try and keep the price of oil down. He’s afraid that if the price keeps climbing (which it will, ’cause the 10 million barrels is just a drop in the bucket as the OPEC+ folks have cut their stated production numbers by 2 million barrels a day) that folks will remember that gasoline was about $2 until the DNC “won” their election in 2020.

The U.S. Energy Department said on Monday it will sell up to 10 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, for delivery in November, extending the timing of a plan to sell 180 million barrels from the stockpile to tame fuel prices.

Just wait until AFTER the elections. His policies will make us wish we still had pricing like it was this summer.

changes

So the old couple is talking at the tavern…. nearby, a waitress can hear them:

“Do you remember the first time we had sex?” she asks, a grin on her face.

“yep, I surely do!” says the old man. “Right behind this very tavern, We’d been drinking and both got very hot and we went outside…you put both hands on the fence wire and I went to town. It was amazing”

“Wanna try it again?” she asks with a grin? “I mean, it was over 50 years ago….”

“I’m not that old yet!” says the old man.

They walk to the back and out the door, both leaning on their canes.

The waitress cannot believe what they are doing, and she discretely follows then just to see if they are really gonna do it. Sure enough, they go out back, the old lady hikes up her skirt, the old man drops his pants and grabs her by the hips. She puts her hands on the top fence wire for support and the old man just explodes into action. He goes at her for 10 minutes or so  hammering really hard  and grunting…, she’s wriggling her butt and dancing from one foot to the other, standing an her toes and arching her back… both of them moaning and breathing hard …they pause for a moment here and there, but keep going until they both collapse on the ground panting and moaning and still breathing hard and nearly passed out….

The waitress is amazed! She’s never seen anyone go like that, especially folks that old. She discretely closes the door and goes back inside.

The old couple returns to their table, again leaning even more heavily on their canes. They are both shaky and wobbly.

The old man says “I gotta go to the bathroom!” and toddles off to the men’s room.

The waitress looks at the old lady:

“Pardon me, I don’t mean to intrude, but I saw the two of you out back. That was incredible. I’ve never seen anyone do anything that intense. You two were wonderful. Is there a secret to how you are able to be so intense, even at , pardon me, your advanced age?”

“When we did it 50 years ago, we were young and vigorous, my dear. But back then, that fence wasn’t electrified!”

Cold, Dark, and now …Silent?

Seems that the Wireless infrastructure (Mobile phones and data) all across Europe may well also “go dark” as the electricity crisis may well lead to blackouts….and the wireless networks may well not have enough backup power (or any at all)…..and the power sharing programs that will share power across borders and regions may well soon be …..ignored.

As rotating blackouts happen, the cell towers and other data centers may well not have enough backup batteries to last until the power comes back on…..leading to communications blackouts as well.

On the one hand, one can buy more batteries….up to a point. On the other hand, those batteries can only charge so fast.

Of course, communications blackouts will make it harder to use cell phones to organize riots and lynchings of those government officials who so totally screwed things up, so there is that….

Huh: The FDA LIED

At least, that is the belief of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons when it comes to Ivermectin and it’s use in the early stages of Covid:

The FDA Misled the Public About Ivermectin and Should Be Accountable in Court, Argues the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS)

” “Not only is off-label prescribing fully proper, legal, and commonplace, but it is also absolutely necessary in order to give effective care to patients.” Yet the FDA published multiple statements and sent letters to influential organizations to falsely disparage ivermectin, implying that it was not approved for treating Covid-19. Many, including courts and state medical boards, were misled by the FDA into thinking that its lack of approval for this treatment meant that ivermectin should not be used to treat Covid-19.”

And Liberals all decried it as “HorsePaste” even when studies showed ivermectin was effective at reducing or eliminating symptoms of those infected with Covid. Of course, Phizer has a drug that is VERY similar that the Federal Government (read: Taxpayers) is paying big dollars for, rather than the few pennies for Ivermectin, (and with similar effectiveness) but that doesn’t matter because ShutUp damnit.

I hope that the case can identify and punish the individuals to make then accountable for their actions.

have ya noticed?

No matter what the Biden folks do, (even selling a Million barrels of oil per day from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve) the price of gasoline is going up again.

No matter what he does, the laws of economics cannot be broken.

It’s gonna kill the DNC folks at the polls this election. .

Is the war really to blame?

Or is it the shortsighted “Green” programs that did their best to get rid of Natural Gas and Coal as sources of heat for electricity generation?

“Due to the war in Ukraine and gas shortages in Europe, there is a significant risk that gas shortages could occur during the winter 2022-23 in Great Britain. As a result, there is a possibility that Great Britain could enter into a gas supply emergency,”

Planning on “Renewables” to make enough energy was a foolish move. Depending on another country (especially Russia) for your energy security is stupidity. Great Britain COULD have plenty of gas, but the envirowhackos would not let them frack or make their natural gas fields produce.

But the Brits will persevere in the cold and dark….They are already approaching third world status, having passed their peak and declined for over 60 years….

Whose fault?

So, apparently, (some of) the people in Ft Myers can’t be trusted to know when to come in out of the rain….or, in this case, to leave their homes because of an impending hurricane.

The media is making a big deal because the county officials in Lee County didn’t issue evacuation orders to the residents soon enough.

You are responsible for your own safety. The County cannot force you to leave, they can suggest it, but the choice is up to you. If you aren’t smart enough to asses your situation and make a good choice, well,  Mr Darwin is always waiting to greet you as you pass beyond this realm.

After 5 weeks…

I flew a Cherokee 180 for an hour. The choices of rental planes is pretty slim…one can rent 172’s in 2 hour blocks, or there is a 180 with limited availability..That is pretty much it.

Man, I never realized how good I had it with the 340 (or the 182 previously) . The differences are tremendous. Not only is the power to weight ratio significantly different (and the Cherokee is a pretty decent airplane in that respect) but the cockpit is wider and much more comfortable in the  340.

The bigger twin (340) is more stable in both pitch and roll, and is just smoother to fly. While the 180 has a decent set of radios, I do miss my Garmin Nav equipment and the Aspen…

I so miss my plane.

It’s like going from a fine educated elegant lady to dating trailer park girls….
