that the media paid little interest to shooting in general until it became obvious to even the most retarded DNC follower that the Democrats were gonna lose in the Midterms…..That there would be a change in the balance of power.

Only then did we hear about the “High Profile” shootings, only then did we get a fair bit of media coverage of ANY shootings.

And only then did the mass murders happen and were publicized so often and so well by the Media.

If you wear a Chapeau by Reynolds (Shiny-side out for the folks who are serious) then you might wonder about that coincidence……and wonder if this is seen as the last chance for a long time to get some Legislation passed. No matter who is sacrificed.

Do I believe there are those in Government service and in power who would do what I am vaguely suggesting? Yes. THe thought disturbs me, but I cannot discount it.

I mean, unless you have a Flex Fuel vehicle then your car’s warranty usually states that blends up to 10% ethanol are approved…but higher than that voids your warranty.

IF the Federal Government mandates 15%, then what? What happens when your cars fuel system has issues? Rubber hoses, seals, some metal parts….all may well degrade in a bath of 85% gasoline and 15% ethanol.

What happens to your warranty?

Is this an attempt to get people to have to replace cars sooner? Biden and his Ilk would like you to change to electric, so maybe this is a way of getting gasoline powered cars off the road….

So, while flipping channels on the Idiot Box this morning, and later while driving, I noticed that all the media is telling us how Mike Pence was “acting Presidential”  during the Jan 6th riot (notice that they have backed off from the “insurrection claim?) and a bunch of other rot about what happened during the (ahem) insurrection….

Has Pence made a deal with the Devil here? Or is there another reason that the Dems and the media (but I repeat myself) are holding him up as the example rather then His Trumpness?

Gun ownership in Chicago. and want even more gun restrictions.

All due to the latest mass murder in Uvalde. (about half of which could have been mitigated had the police not waited for an hour to do their jobs). All protests led by and organized by un-named parties

Yet nearly every day a child is shot in the South Side of Chicago. Nearly every evening one or more adults are killed …..and 20 or so hot and 5 or more killed or more in weekend violence. But no-one seems to care about that, even though that violence adds up to thousands of victims per year….mostly poor, mostly black.

It only matters when it is a high profile, highly publicized shooting with an “Assault Weapon”. (and those happen in odd ways, at most convenient times, don’t they?)

These people can’t, apparently, see or understand the fact that they are propagandized and led…sheep like. And they follow like any well trained herd.

If you have your own Solar panel or Wind Power setup, or a small Hydro system or other off grid supply of electricity, then this is not for you.

But if you don’t then this might be a wake up call.

I am told by people who buy, sell, and move power around the country that they expect shortfalls this year….By shortfalls, I mean shortfalls in the amount of generation vs the amount of demand for electricity.

See, lots of older plants have gone offline, due to obsolescence, just plain old age, or because the Green people in the Biden administration have regulated these older plants out of service.

But nothing is being built to replace them except wind and solar….which simply won’t get it for actual reliable grid supply. Thus my warning: Expect brownouts or blackouts.

Now, for about 3 days, most generating plants can operate at above 130% of rated load. Then they gotta cut back. Same same with most transmission lines. They can run at an overload FOR A WHILE.

So according to my source, we are about 4 hot days in a row (like over 100 degrees F here in the midwest) from brownouts or blackouts. At some point enough generating plants will be overloaded that they will have no choice but to trip offline. This can (and has) led to a cascade effect leaving lots and lots of people without power.

Got a generator? Know how to use it? Got fuel for it? Fresh fuel? Oil? Have you run it this year? Do you know how to safely connect it to your house? Do you have enough fuel to keep it running for those 3-5 days?

If not, might take a bit of time and remedy that lack, as it looks more and more like some of us might need it sooner rather than later this summer. Possibly most of us if the cascade happens.

If you don’t have a generator and are thinking about buying one, I highly recommend the Honda Inverter generators. Not cheap, but worth the money. Plus they run for a long time on less fuel. (don’t cheap out and get a Harbor Freight Special here, buy a decent generator….)Also have a means to secure the generator. (They can and have been stolen when everyone needs one. A good cable or chain helps at least) (don’t cheap out and get a Harbor Freight Special here, buy a decent generator) Figure your minimal needs. and get a generator that can handle them….. maybe just a bit more. The inverter types don’t  run any harder than they have to to meet the demand, and are very frugal on fuel.

But have enough to run your fridge, freezer, and to operate a small window air conditioner at least…that way one room can be comfortable. If yer on a well, decide how much you need water for washing and sanitation.

But plan ahead. I’d not trust your government to care enough (or be competent enough) to make sure you have electrical power. (Unless you live in a Blue City (which will likely get some special priority vs Red rural folks) and maybe not even then)

The fact that Trump suggested, and offered, National Guard troops on Jan 6th. (of course, Reuters says it was so they would “protect” the protesters rioters..)

Oddly, that fact was overlooked by the ShitShow last night (Jun 8th) as presented by her nastiness, Liz Cheney, in her attempt to drive a stake through Donald Trump’s heart (and legacy).

That in itself, and the fact hat no one in the media mentioned it, shows that the entire thing is an attempt at character assassination and finding blame without facts, but only with innuendo and lies.

Credibility approaching zero.

I think most people that haven’t already gone over the top in their Trump Derangement Syndrome (Cough, Eathbound Misfit, Cough) can see this presentation for what it is….

I mean, what we have here is a bunch of accusations and innuendo, with no context, carefully selected (and edited) video and audio and text snippets, not actual testimony in a trial, being put forth in accusation against a private individual, with no opportunity for rebuttal.

It’s character assassination at it’s finest. It isn’t a trial. Not by any definition. The excerpts were carefully edited for emotional and shock value….But no Smoking Gun in the ex-President’s hand. I find that telling. No actual charges against Donald Trump….just innuendo. This isn’t a legal proceeding, it is simply a show.

If they have enough to charge him, then they should do so. But simply assassinating his character without charges is cheap, tawdry, and wrong. Especially when aided and abetted by the Mainstream Media. The Media who obviously carefully coordinated and harmonized their message (at least CBS, NBC, and ABC did so). (Think of the advertising revenue that the Big Three forewent to help damage Trump!)

I found the presentation to carefully edited, with lots of emotional scenes to tug Liberal heartstrings, but little actual useful testimony. No facts, nothing that could lead to charges.

I expect that the Democrats and the “Never Trump” folks are really afraid of what is gonna happen in the midterms and in 2024, and this is designed and timed to help affect those.

I await the next “episode” to see if they have actual facts. So far, a waste of time.

Liz Cheney should be ashamed of herself. The RNC should cease to support her.

Where is the Department of Justice in all of this? Why aren’t they presenting actual factual evidence?

Why I (or anyone else) should listen to, or care, what Matthew McConaughey thinks about gun violence? Why his opinion matters so much to the press?

He’s an actor, sorta. One who (for a while) women thought of as sexy and desirable,,,..and who then faded into obscurity.

Until there was a mass shooting by a troubled kid in his hometown.

He has exactly zero knowledge that is useful, and absolutely no authority….

But the media is pushing his face in front of us because he once lived in Uvalde.

It’s like asking the dancing bear what kind of dessert we should have after the show…..
