So Google has apparently begun terminating all google services to people whose work or writing they deem “offensive” with no recourse and no appeal. 

I use Gmail as my primary contact method for email, mainly because it works well on my Android phone.

I also have a Yahoo account, but that app has never been as clean and seamless as Gmail, and Yahoo itself may well be bankrupt soon, so I cannot depend on that either……

Can anyone suggest an Email service that has easy access from Android, that isn’t incredibly expensive, and that won’t terminate me of services because I am not Politically Correct…

Seriously, If Google shuts down my blog, well, then no one is really hurt. But if I lose my (current) Gmail account, I am totally screwed. I think I’d like another account that I won’t get cancelled on for non correct thoughts and all.

Anyone got suggestions?

JP Morgan Chase (Or at least the CEO, James Dimon ) has decided Virtue Signalling is more important then keeping customers. I guess he wants to look good to his guests at his next cocktail party.

I have a not insubstantial amount of money in my retirement funds through JPMC. Now I have to find someone else to handle those accounts for me. Sad, they’ve been handling my money for 15 years.

They chose to take sides. If they’d have just shut up and chosen NOT to take sides……Lots of firms can place trades for stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. I would expect better from JPMC. They are supposed to be professional bankers and investment experts, not Social Justice Warriors.

Anti-Defamation League? I sorta could have let that go. Maybe.

Southern Poverty Law Center? Nope. that is the one that makes me choose to leave. I won’t give business to anyone who chooses to donate to them…..especially in such a public manner.

Sadly, this hurts my local representative, who has been excellent in giving advice to me and helping me to grow my money. And he is the one that has to push my complaint up the corporate ladder.

I refuse to Feed the Beast. They can use their money to support anyone they wish. I just will not give them any fees with which to do so.

Y’all are adults, and can make your own decisions. However, if you are customers of JPMC, then I would urge you to follow my example and make sure they know why.

Which is odd, as his company is a major sponsor in NASCAR, whose fans aren’t generally that political, but who are, generally, supporters of conservatives and were a significant part of Trump’s support……As are the RV folks, who are also a MAJOR part of Camping World’s customers.

SJW Virtue Signalling doesn’t mix well with business. I expect that about 80% of his customers will take his advice and will, indeed, shop elsewhere.

Remember that 25 years ago was the day that that the US Marshalls killed Sammy Weaver and started the Ruby Ridge debacle (for there can be no other word) that led to the standoff and, eventually, the death of Vicki Weaver….

The fuckups (for there can be no nice way to describe the total incompetence that the whole, long involved mess that the ATF started, the US Marshall’s Service screwed up even further, and the FBI folks totally failed to do any more than make much much worse) were epic and should have resulted in about 70 prosecutions of the assorted agents of the three agencies for malfeasance and incompetence and the resulting coverup…but no one was prosecuted, no one was demoted, forced to retire or in any meaningful way punished.

If you don’t know the whole story, start here. Read THIS to see the discrepancies that the FBI (and other agencies) just papered over. (and the courts and “Justice” system let happen). READ THIS for a long, detailed (but, as far as I can determine, factually correct) account of the “incident”.

The ATF, acting out of control and in a manner that was both unprofessional and incompetent caused this to happen. Then they called the US Marshals to act, who failed to investigate and simply acted…in what could well be called a rouge manner……..causing the incident which led to the death of  Sammy weaver and Marshall Dugan. They too needed help, so they called the FBI. Who again acted in a manner which exacerbated the situation. None of the agents ever questioned the reasons why a man who moved to the country to be left alone would act this way, they simply took the word of some incompetent ATF agents who wanted to cover their butts…..the Marshalls, once a Fed was killed, of course hid the fact that they too acted in a poor and unprofessional manner and called in the Feebs, who again, escalated things.

(Having worked with agents from all three agencies about 10 years ago, I can tell you that they hadn’t gotten much better then. They are arrogant, are afraid only for their retirement, and lie, cheat and cover up their mistakes, often with the aid of other agent even those from other agencies. If one Fed says something, the others, even in other agencies, take it at face value, even though it may seem implausible. (yes, I’ve seen this firsthand).)

Randy Weaver got screwed by some ATF agents, then screwed again by (and lost his son to) some idiots who worked for the US Marshall’s service. The the FBI took over and killed his wife. Because Feds.

I met Randy some years ago. His eyes were haunted and he is a broken man. I’m surprised he hasn’t eaten his gun yet.

Your Government and the Justice Department at work. And your Government covered for them and LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT.

I  highly doubt that there is any difference in any of those agencies today.

Illegal search, no trial, illegal seizure….

I expect the first to implement this will get sued, and rightly so. This is about as unconstitutional as it gets.

I mean, really at what point do we say “get the fuck over it, it was in the past, deal with today….Grow the hell up” and just go forward?

Are black people gonna be eternal victims? I mean, Jewish folks don’t forget, but they deal and go forward. We still tell Polish jokes…The Irish were hated by pretty much everyone in their day. WOP is still an insult to a person of Italian ancestry….The Chinese and Japanese were segregated ’cause the others just wanted them there since there were no longer slaves to exploit for labor….But not in MY backyard.

I can go on, ad nauseum, but at a certain point you either get it, or you should move to California, Oregon, or the NorthEast and stay the hell out of the South and the Midwest. Especially the South.
