Respec’ Mah Authoriteh!

So the cops in Louisville have covered themselves in Glory….No matter how you look at this, it’s gonna give them a black eye in the minds of the public. There is no way to “spin” out of this

Seems that they were investigating a traffic incident at the PGA Golf tournament….And a major player, Scotty Scheffler, was arrested for failing to comply with their commands to stop….

The best part is that a cop “Attached himself to the car” and was somehow injured,,, and they are blaming his injuries on Mr. Sheffler….IN fact they are charging him with assaulting the cop who somehow :attached Himself”.

Their heavy handed practices are only coming to light because of the person they used them on….if it had been you or me or most anyone else, they’d get away with it.

Look: I am all for our police. We, as a society, need them. But it is about time that they realize that they are not our masters, they don’t have special privileges, we are not subservient to them, and they have to play nice with us. If they can’t, then they don’t need to be cops.

I find it interesting that Mr. Scheffler was processed and released in record time….. Someone in the department has some intelligence and some sense….But the cop didn’t. All he  knew was the Mr Scheffler didn’t obey…..and that made him angry.

Funny, innit, how that only works one way?

So you may have heard about the “Controversial” commencement speech made by Harrison Butker, a staunch catholic (and the kicker for the KC Chiefs)

The calls for him to be fired from the chiefs because he believes in (and espoused) traditional values in his commencement speech are loud….and there is a petition with approximately 190,000 signatures calling for his firing.

The NFL took a somewhat weasely stance and said “”His views are not those of the NFL as an organization. The NFL is steadfast in our commitment to inclusion, which only makes our league stronger.”.

At the end of it though, what stood out to me the most is that the folks who always want “Inclusiveness” really don’t…..they want their views to be heard, but never opposing ideas…..they want acceptance of their lifestyles and morals, but others that may disagree with theirs Must Be Silenced.  Funny how that works….There is no real Free Speech, there is only the speech and beliefs that THEY deem acceptable.

This man has his core beliefs. He had the courage to state them. Publicly. (and ,mostly, he represents the values of MOST of America, more or less.) You are free to disagree with his views. But the one thing you are NOT free to do is silence him.

To do so is t undermine YOUR ability to have alternative views, and espouse an alternative lifestyle…one that many may not agree with. But if your views are Free Speech, then so are his.

Someone need to tell these Fagots and Transgenders and lesbians to shut the hell up about this.

Why do less than 1% of the population get such a loud voice, anyway. Why does the Media eve bother to report what they want? Why does anyone listen to them at all?

Now also the “Weasel of Parkland”

So Scott Peterson, the “Coward of Broward”…the School Resource Officer (Sheriffs Deputy) who hid and cowered outside instead of confronting the Parkland shooter (I won’t mention his name) back in 2018 thinks that the Broward Sherriff’s Office should pay his legal bills from his trial.

Dude should have been handed a pistol with one cartridge and left alone to Do the Right Thing….(Not that the other Broward County officers were much better, mind you you….when the Coral Gables officers arrived about 10 minutes after the first call, they  found several other Broward officers hiding behind their cars…)

But Peterson thinks he shouldn’t have to pay for his defense. Weasel.

Expect something to happen to Slow Joe:

Apparently Biden called for a debate on June 27th.

43 days from today.

I fully expect that Slow Joe will have an “issue” just before the debate, as we all know he would not be able to hold his own. Even in a scripted format such as has been proposed, there is no way Joe can hang….

Something will have to give….a stroke, heart attack, a terrorist attack, trip-and-fall, something will happen to give Joe an out.

Bet on it.

Helped at a food bank …what a disappointment

I found it irritating:

So a friend had asked me if I would help out at a local food bank the other morning. I wasn’t doing much then so I said yes.

Every Single Person who was broke enough (supposedly) to need help from the Food Bank had in their car either a $6 coffee from a large chain that rhymes with “Carbuck” or a large fountain drink. Every Single One of them.

If yer that broke that you need to beg food at the Food Bank (which gets their food from donations) then you can’t afford high dollar coffee and soft drinks.

Pick one. Broke or not.

Also, many of these folks were driving pretty nice rides as well.

I’m thinking the concept of “Poor ” is not what I thought it was.

I mentioned the expensive drinks to one of the leaders there and was told “Don’t Judge”.

But I WILL judge. I was volunteering my time to help people less well off than I am. I.E. “Poor”. These folks weren’t acting Poor, nor were they volunteering….they just wanted the free food. .

They were just taking.

Last time I volunteer for something like this.

I’m not sure I can justify any additional donations, either, to be honest.

Question:

If Cops think that it is a valid reason to shoot someone just because that person has a firearm in their hand…..Therefore that person is a valid threat…..

Does that then mean that if I encounter a police officer with a drawn firearm that I get to shoot him or her because I can perceive them as a threat in the same preemptive manner?

I ask this because of the reasoning (by the sheriffs office) for the shooting of Roger Fortson in Florida the other day….

I know the excuse is “Officer Safety”, but being a cop isn’t even in the top 10 most dangerous professions here in the US. And why is “Officer” safety any more valid and important then MY safety or the safety of any other citizen’s? We all want to go home at the end of the day.

How about if he (or she) puts his hand on the firearm in a holster in a threatening manner? In my state, this is considered “brandishing” and is legally a threat….can I shoot the cop then? (I can, generally, out draw and out shoot most police officers, so this is actually valid) Just asking ’cause I want to be clear….I mean, if it is ok for the cops then it should be OK for me, right? Same rules and all that?

This shooting, at the face of it, looks like plain and simple murder to me.

Biden’s “Build Back Better” in a nutshell:

7 billion dollars allocated but so far only 7 charging stations actually built after 2 years.

We are lucky that those stations aren’t diesel powered chargers though…

As far as “Green” boondoggles go, at least is isn’t a total loss like Obama and Solyndra, where the taxpayer ‘s paid for the losses and Barry’s friends got rich (and he got kickbacks so he could buy his oceanfront property)
