Terri Garr has passed at 79. 

And the world is less with her loss.

So this chick was stranded on a parking lot. Blue and red/pink hair, but I stopped anyway.

Her (metallic green) Subaru wouldn’t start.

Since I was taught never to leave a lady in distress, I had to see if she needed help.

She had, apparently, left the lights on and there just wasn’t enough battery left to start the car.

She had a jump pack, but did not know how to hook it up to the battery. I offered to do so, we got the car started, and I suggested maybe having the battery checked out. A half-hour of lights on should not drain the battery that much that it wouldn’t start (at least not in 60 degree weather)

But, when I was putting the jumper pack back into its carry bag, I noticed her bumper sticker:

“Independent Woman, Don’t Need No Man!”

I suggested she might want to scrape that off the window…she blushed and changed the subject to thanking me for my help.

Are all these women that delusional?

They actually claimed (Via their propaganda arm, MSNBC), that the Trump Rally in Madison Square Garden was a fascist, nazi rally…and MSNBC actually cut in clips from that rally in 1939

That’s a pretty big reach, and it comes close to defamation.

I think the reports that Trump is gonna win in a landslide are looking ever more true, especially because of the desperate, panicked actions like this from the DNC types.

I bet they didn’t care what the girly men at OSHA thought either.

We don’t need no stinkin’ permits! 

Seems that a bunch of coal miners brought some borrowed equipment and rebuilt a road washed out by Helene that the authorities said would take 6 months to do…and did it in a few days.

They didn’t get permission, they didn’t have a bunch of surveys, they didn’t have much in the way of plans.

They just bulldozed and excavated into a pile of dirt and debris and made a road….Where one had been once before the flooding and hurricane and such. destroyed it…….Where one was needed.

It’s a temporary road, and it likely won’t last. But it gets the town connected to the rest of the world…and they did it when no government agency could be bothered to expedite. And it is what is needed RIGHT NOW.

It’ll work until the government folks get their thumbs out of their asses.

Amazing, no one gave ’em permission, they just stepped up and volunteered to do it…then went and did it.

Either women are stupid, emotional and easily swayed or the DNC folks THINK they are stupid, emotional and easily swayed..

Especially when it comes to abortion.

They are arguing the fact that the Supreme Court said that Roe V Wade should be cancelled, and the decision should go back to the states…that It was a bad decision and should never have been adjudicated as it was and it is bad case law….And it is all on the shoulders of Donald J Trump.

To insist that “Donald Trump Banned Abortion” is to remove the Supreme Court (and the rest of the court system) from any part in the system….to remove years of legal arguments, to entirely discount the argument made (on both sides) regarding abortion.

The best comment is that he “hand picked” the members of the courts…, especially the Supreme Court….isn’t that part of what Presidents do? DO they really think that we will forget that Justices Brown, Sotomayor, and Kagan weren’t chosen for their more liberal leanings when they were appointed? That they weren’t “Hand Picked”?

The roof repair work party at the range on Saturday was well attended….we actually had 14 men show up (this is more than twice what I expected)..

Weather was perfect….Cool, not much wind, bright and sunny.

Everyone showed up prepared to work. Gloves, the proper tools, kneepads and other PPE.

The job that I expected to take 7 or more hours was done in less than 5. At one point, people were sitting around ’cause there wasn’t enough room for everyone to work in the space to finish the work. There were logistical bottlenecks with equipment ’cause I didn’t plan on so many people.

It is a nice problem to have, too many people, when you organize a work party, generally you gel less than 5% participation.

I think we fixed the metal roof well enough that, except for maintenance (coating it every 3 or 4 years), it should last for at least another 10 years….maybe more.

I believe this is the first time that we had more help than we needed in the 20 years I have been organizing and participating in work parties as a member of the range .

Hint: Bears aren’t just big cuddly creatures. They are carnivores, and humans are tasty when freshly killed.

So some stupid bint in Germany decided to scale the wall keeping people out of the polar bear enclosure….So she could “Swim with the bears”

Bears, being Apex Predators, did what they do. Tried to eat her. Fresh meat and all that….

Luckily, (for her) she was pulled to safety  by zoo staff with only a bunch of bites.

If it were me, I’d have helped not a bit. Let her figure how to get back over the wall, out of the moat. She got in by herself, let her get out by herself

She thought it was to keep the bears in….but it is also to keep people out.

It’d be a lesson for others, really.

Even the Black demographic is more approving of Donnie.

Is it enough to overcome the Margin of Cheat? Who knows?

I do know that if the above happens again, there will be a lot of trouble. Jan 6th will look like a picnic at the park….and this time it will be real people, not Feds, and they won’t be unarmed….and it won’t be just in one location.

It will, of course, be “Mostly Peaceful”
