American Airlines pulls a Bud Light equivalent move

Nothing like stepping on your crank with golf shoes .

American Airlines issues ground stop for ALL flights due to a “Technical Issue”American Airlines grounds all flights on Christmas Eve due to ‘technical issue’

American Airlines has been forced to request a ground stop for all its flights due to the ongoing system outage

A technical issue is affecting American flights this morning,’ the carrier said in a statement.’Our teams are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, and we apologize to our customers for the inconvenience.’

This has to be the best way to push these stranded travelers to use any other airline next time…and likely forever. I mean, really? Fail on Christmas Eve Day?

Apparently it isn’t just the Dems that have politicians with dementia

The Republicans have some as well.

A still sitting Texas Congresswoman has been missing votes in Washington because she’s been living in a $4,000-a-month nursing home for the past six months.

Kay Granger, 81, who was set to wind up a nearly 30-year career in the House in January, has been missing from her office for the past six months.

(You’d think someone from her office might have noticed?)

Perhaps we need a cognitive test for any politician older than say, 50?

(I used that number so folks like AOC wouldn’t have to be failed at an early age….)

This is what “Tolerance” gets the German people.

It’s coming for us in the US soon as well.

Remember the post about the Muslim men marching though the Christmas Markets in Germany? How they disrupted the normally peaceful event? Scared people?

Yeah, now it has escalated.

A muslim doctor drove though a crowd at a Christmas market around 7 PM, killing at least 5 and injuring tens hundreds of others: Magdeburg attack suspect who boasted to BBC how he helped ex-Muslim asylum seekers get to the West posted about ‘slaughtering Germans indiscriminately‘ before Christmas market massacre that left toddler among five dead

Letting these people into your country, allowing them to congregate in their own neighborhoods, retain their own culture, not requiring them to conform to your laws, never integrating into your society, is a recipe for disaster….their faith, at the base of it, is incompatible to modern western society. The radicals will always be a danger to non muslims (and, lets face it, they kill each other nearly as indiscriminately).

You never know which “peaceful” muslim is gonna get radicalized and start killing from one day to the next. (yeah, I am painting with a broad brush, but I have seen decent seeming, apparently open minded muslims suddenly go radically fundamental and angry in less than 30 days), Are you willing to risk your family’s safety on the hope that this one won’t get all homicidal today?

Unless, and until, the muslims are forced to be decent citizens (or kicked out of the country) germany will see more of this. The question is, how many German children will have to die before they take action?

It isn’t just Germany, either. Most of the scandinavian countries have the same sort of population of muslims living amongst them. Rape and assault of women is up greatly, many women are afraid to leave their home after dark

Still certifiable

So Thursday, I did my Biennial Flight Review.

Lots of questions, most of which I had answers for. Rule/Regulations, etc.

Then time to go out to the aircraft. Turns out though, not mine.

The flight instructor realized (too late) that she was not able to do the review in my twin Cessna as she doesn’t have the proper credentials….she isn’t multi engine instructor certified…(If I had known, I would have scheduled someone else.)

And I don’t have insurance on file at any flight school….SO renting a plane is problematic….

So instead,  She rented a 172  from her flight school and I flew it with her as an “instructor”, and we did the flying portion of the review. All the basics, stalls, steep turns, a sudden engine failure, (near an airport, of course) several other flight maneuvers, and 2 landings…..both of which sucked as I haven’t flown a 172 for more than a few years…first one was way too fast in the approach, and the second one I ran out of flying 3 feet too high…..The energy loss is totally different than what I amused to. But the airplane is still usable, so there’s that.

Having said all that, she certified me. ,,,as safe to fly, at least.

I paid her for her instructor time and I paid the rental bill for the aircraft and am now good to go for another 2 years.
