Seems that something like 7000 to 140 thousand years ago, mankind (Homo-Erectus, our ancestors) were hunting in low lying areas…
Then the Glaciers melted and now all we have is fossil evidence of them in the lowlying seabeds off of India…
Climate Change seems to have caused the seas to rise by several tens of meters. ..inundating the lowlands…
Musta been all those SUV’s that Homo Erectus were driving round, or the burning of coal in those power plants back then that led to the temp rise and the melting of the glaciers …..
Raise a glass, look, up, whatever.
Think of who made sacrifices for your freedom.
Remember
Just to yourself, maybe, say a a prayer of thanks.
They deserve at least that.
Now enjoy your day.

Today marks the anniversary of his death:
A career felon, high on fentanyl, who dies while being restrained by the police….breathing in enough air to loudly tell everyone “I can’t breath”
All the reports that I see still claim that he was killed by Derek Chauvin, the police officer who restrained him by “Kneeling on his neck” …
The left is, of course, perpetrating the lie, because a riled up black population is willing to listen to them when they claim they will fix things….which they haven’t for the entirety of my lifetime….But they vote regularly for the people that make empty promises…Which makes them still useful
There will be protests today…..about what is somewhat unclear, but protests there will be…(likely mostly white people, especially women, ridden with guilt)
and none of it will change the fact that George Floyd could have survived had he not struggled once caught, struggled like an animal….and had he not committed the crimes in the beginning, Cold have survived had he not had a load of fentanyl in his system that would have killed the average man immediately…..
But the left still finds it useful to blame everyone else but him and the culture that engendered him and the people like him….and the people that made money off of his death are still milking the populace for donations.
Read the folks on the sidebar links, they are smarter than me and write better anyway.
May be back sooner, maybe later,
In the meantime, remember the folks we are Memorializing on this Memorial Day….
It ain’t just about a three day weekend.
The the motto of the Cremation Society is “Think outside the Box”?
I gotta admit I laughed when I found out.
since we got rid of that racist and repressive brand called “Aunt Jemima” and changed it to “Pearl Milling Company” because it was, apparently the root cause of the Black community’s failings….
So, 4 years on, have the issues with the Black community fixed themselves? Has the poverty rate, the crime rate, the rate of single motherhood, the lack of black high school student graduates, the rampant drug use, and all their other ills, suddenly gotten better?
Has anything improved since we buried Aunt Jemima?
Seems that during the launching ceremony, the North Korean’s new destroyer tipped over and may have broken apart….While Supreme Leader Kim Jung Un was watching
One wonders how many people at the shipyard are slowly being fed into woodchippers a centimeter at a time right now….
Apparently they have covered it with tarps to hide it from satellites.
Who got fired (or, for that matter, criminally charged even) for the wasted monies that DOGE found in Energy, Education, USAID, etc?
I mean, that there was malfeasance is pretty obvious. So who got fired for it? Who signed off on the expenditures that were, at best, poorly thought out? Someone had to authorize the spending of millions and millions (and, apparently, millions more) of our tax dollars. Someone was responsible for the poor choices in spending….have they been in any way held to account for their signing off on the expenditures? If no, WHY not?
So who loses their job (at least) for all of this? What bureaucrats and leaders lost their jobs and (hopefully) their pensions for the mismanagement? (most of ’em oughta be shot, in my opinion),
Anyone?
Although, I think it is more than incompetence here, some other pressure is being applied. It is the only thing that I can find to explain the failure…..
