Something to think about:

For the first time, we have  a “Person of Color” heading the FBI (and the ATF)….He is not “Black” but he isn’t white, either. He is a dark skinned minority.

You’d think that the Leftist and the Media (yeah, I know, repeating myself again) would be loudly proclaiming that, for the first time, the FBI wasn’t being headed by a white man….

But nope, silence. I guess he isn’t dark enough or something. maybe not Negro enough? Or maybe he isn’t Democrat enough. Or maybe they don’t want to admit that Trump seems to be color blind.

Funny, that.

Going after activist judges

One, at least:

On Feb. 11, Washington, D.C.-based U.S. District Judge John Bates, a George W. Bush appointee, issued a temporary restraining order directing four administrative agencies to restore a series of webpages and datasets that had been removed from public health websites.

The order was subsequently overturned.

On Monday, Rep. Andy Ogles, a Republican from Tennessee, filed House Resolution 157, which accuses the judge of “high crimes and misdemeanors” over the temporary restraining order. The bill was subsequently referred to the House Judiciary Committee.

“John Deacon Bates, a judge of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, engaged in a pattern of conduct that is incompatible with the trust and confidence placed in him,” the lone article of impeachment in the resolution begins.

About time. There was no cogent argument for what he did, except to block actions by a President that he found objectionable. No legal reason or argument for it. Just abuse of power.

I hope this is a lesson other activist judges, of any political bent or philosophy.

From comments:

Matthew states: “We shouldn’t be sending $50,000,000 anywhere outside of the US of A.,……..”

I agree, we should not send even one thin dime to any country (Much less ten of millions or even Billions), be they friend or foe, ally or not, until the United States has a zero deficit and no debt. Until then, we cannot afford to do so.

If this means that some connected people on the East Coast lose their generations-old Gravy Train, well, so be it.

If it means that places like Israel can’t survive, then that will be a tragedy, but they have had a long time to get their shit together. Perhaps they need to spend more on military and less on Social Programs.

Same for Germany and all the other Nato countries.

Sending “Aid” to places like China (yes, we do) or Japan is foolish. They either do not need it or need to adjust their priorities in spending. Less developed countries will survive or not, likely will, and if some people in those countries don’t get as rich as fast, so be it. There will still be starving people in those third world countries either way….

If it means that a dance studio in Lahore loses it’s funding, or an “Inclusive” theater in Argentina  or Monrovia goes under, well, they should not have needed a subsidy to survive. Life’s a bitch, the US cannot prop up everyone, and we should not prop up some over others.

Take a look at the numbers

Approximately 2.1 million people in Gaza.

$50 million in condoms for Hamas. Last Year….Twice.

At about $0.50 each in bulk, that is 100 million condoms….even if you double the cost, that is 50 million condoms. that is 23 condoms per person….Now, if we assume that 1/3 of those people in Gaza are female, 1/3 children that do not yet need condoms, and 1/3 are male, then that is 72 condoms per user….

Assuming the delivered price is $1.00 per condom, which seems high, (like 2.5 or three times high or more ( I am not sure what that large of a bulk order gets you in discounts, I got lots of conflicting data)) then that means that each male in Gaza received (Or was supposed to receive) at least 72 condoms ….assuming that there are 2.1 million people in Gaza and that 1/3 are men….and assuming that they actually all use the condoms, which I doubt.

At the end of it, it is more like $0.35 per condom delivered (Maybe less), and more like about 300, 000 men actually needing (Or wanting to use) condoms…..which is more than one condom per user per day over a year.

This was such a successful program that they did it TWICE last year.

Think about that…..

I wonder who made the money, who profited on this? We need to find out. We need to prosecute.
