I actually approve of his removing these artificial dyes from food. Personally, I’d like to see it happen faster than 2 years.

They serve no real purpose other than to make them more appealing to consumers (and especially children)…but they don’t make for better tasting food, nor longer lasting nor more nutritious.

At least not the current list that he proposes.

Honestly, they should have been eliminated years ago.

And, oddly enough, we have data showing their (marginal, but measurable) effect on kids, or at least some kids….So I approve, as there is hard data, not just conjecture and urban legend and someone’s anecdotal claim on an internet post that cannot be verified.

(BTW, this was already in the works by the FDA, Kennedy just accelerated it)
