“You either uphold the principle, or you don’t”

(Worth watching for the 20 minutes)

This is the leadership I voted for

Notice that the attendees in the audience are not very happy with his words…

Why should we, as a nation, spend the treasure of our citizens, the taxes they earn and pay through hard work, to uphold and defend people who believe in something other than democratic representation? Why should we uphold the elites in their positions who fail to represent the wished of their citizens?

This goes for many places outside of Europe as well, Australia comes to mind as another example.

New Crisis:

Under the current Trump Administration, the number of genders has reached an 8 year low.

Democrats are outraged.

Film at 11.

Talking with an old man at breakfast

And he pointed out that back in the 60’s and 70’s, it was the News Media that did the job that DOGE is doing today…exposing waste and fraud and stealing by our unelected administrative government officials….

But the press has been (in his words) “sleeping with the damned Democrats” for so long that they have forgotten how to do their jobs as the watchdog of the government, and simply let these federal employees stead and misuse the federal (taxpayer) funds.

I think it is worse, the Press chose NOT to do their jobs because it would reflect badly on the Federal workers and especially the Democrats.

Either way, it was an interesting point. I bought his breakfast.

Buying future jobs with taxpayer money

After all, if I give your organization a big chunk of $20 Billion, you are expected to give me a job, right?

“Throwing gold bars off the Titanic”

The EPA folks, in Biden’s administration moved 20 BILLION dollars to an account that they could use to distribute o NGO’s and other organizations after Trump took office in an attempt to sidestep the cuts they knew were coming.

This smacks of fraud and misuse of funds at best. Outright theft at worst. Especially since these folks knew they were gonna get a job at these places they funded after Trump took office.

Someone ought to go to jail for this.

Hegseth to NATO:

“You had better step up ’cause we are stepping away”

Both from the money sink (to Ukrainian powerful people) that is Ukraine, and from NATO as well.

Again, about fukking time.

This is more of what I voted for.

America First and stop spreading the wealth of our nation, our citizens, to people who won’t step up for themselves. Let the NATO countries take it out of their social programs that they love to lord over us…. We always hear about how their social safety nets are so great, but they spend money that should be paying for defense on those programs, and have let the US pay for NATO. Hiding behind the US’s skirts, as it were. Enough of that.

A profundity

Once it goes, it’s gone

‘No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river and he’s not the same man.’
Heraclitus

True for people too. We can’t ever find them again, for they are not the same person they were, and neither are we.

A sadness, sometimes.

Funny, innit?

I mean really really strange…

“tariffs burden consumers with higher prices” as corporations simply pass the cost onto consumers….

But somehow, all those corporate taxes levied during the times when the DNC types held sway never caused the same issue of rising prices…..Those taxes were Good Things.

Really really odd, that.

No more games for Ukraine:

And it is about time, for Ukraine as well as the rest of Europe

They are gonna have to go it without the US, mostly.

America will no longer front the lion’s share of aid to Ukraine, the Trump administration said today in a devastating blow to Kyiv that will pile pressure on Europe to fill the void.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said that Washington will ‘no longer tolerate an imbalanced relationship’ with its allies, adding that ‘Europe must provide the overwhelming share of future lethal and non-lethal aid to Ukraine’.

He stressed that the United States was no longer ‘primarily focused’ on Europe, and said that the old continent would have to fund most of Ukraine’s defense itself in a turn away from a 75-year role as the ‘primary guarantor of security in Europe’.
