Perhaps it was theater for the TV audience

and perhaps it was real. I dunno.

But it is exactly how Zelensky needed to be talked to. He cam here and demanded help years ago….and for some reason, he got exactly what he asked for……..Aid in the form of untraceable money and arms. Demanded it, acting as if it were his and his countries due, rather than a  gift….and he got it from a weak and leaderless United States….For  some reason our congressmen and out president knuckled under to him, treated him with deference.

Not so much today. He got treated as a penitent should be treated. “You are in NO POISITION to dictate”.

About time we got a leader that will do what is needed in relations with other countries.

Aw Jesus, they are pushing it again

Reparations , I mean….They are pushing it in Illinois again. All over the Chicago news.

The “Committee” is looking at it….again.

How are they gonna make it fair? Lots of black people have been getting subsidies their whole lives….sometimes for 3 or 4 generations….and lots of white families came to this country well after the Emancipation…..You gonna make ’em pay back those subsidies (Interest???) How are you gonna square the books?

My father never owned a slave, his father never owned a slave, neither of my father’s grandfathers never owned a slave….My mother’s mother’s family never owned a slave, and my mother’s father was mexican…in fact both sides of my mother’s family were what today would be considered enslaved people….(likely my Dad’s side as well)….all were immigrants who paved the way for the next generation with hard work…..and good culture. Sorry that that culture wasn’t part of those from Africa. We are where we are because of hard work and good culture passed on by my ancestors. My nieces and nephews are better off at this stage in life than I was at that stage….and I was better off than my father and mother. Every other culture does it but two, here in America. And they are both tribal.  It is what they make of it… Reparations won’t fix them.

How are you gonna figure who gets paid what, and by whom?

I think this is just a way of letting people think that the (liberal) Illinois government cares. Were I a (white) taxpayer in Illinois, I would be up in arms that they are even funding a committee to investigate the idea.

You know they are a troll

When they have never commented before, and suddenly show up  in your comments  with an authoritative sounding argument and are immediately argumentative…..

But when you call them on it, or demand the same sort of cites that they demand from you, then they disappear.

Leftist trolls think they are smart, they aren’t.

Yeah, I’m talking to you “RJ1913”.When pressed you folded like a cheap suit. Loser

And the Epstein files were …..

shall we say, less than expected?

It would seem that the Department of Justice failed to turn over the data, and instead sent over already-public information….NOT the files that were expected. (Is anyone surprised? )

Interesting. Apparently people are gonna lose their careers over this failure to follow orders….which leads to even more speculation as to which rich and powerful people are they hiding???

Image

We shall see if the files ARE released tomorrow…or if there is a sudden fire at the storage location….or what other delays happen.

I bought a jar of popcorn….

Something to think about:

For the first time, we have  a “Person of Color” heading the FBI (and the ATF)….He is not “Black” but he isn’t white, either. He is a dark skinned minority.

You’d think that the Leftist and the Media (yeah, I know, repeating myself again) would be loudly proclaiming that, for the first time, the FBI wasn’t being headed by a white man….

But nope, silence. I guess he isn’t dark enough or something. maybe not Negro enough? Or maybe he isn’t Democrat enough. Or maybe they don’t want to admit that Trump seems to be color blind.

Funny, that.

Going after activist judges

One, at least:

On Feb. 11, Washington, D.C.-based U.S. District Judge John Bates, a George W. Bush appointee, issued a temporary restraining order directing four administrative agencies to restore a series of webpages and datasets that had been removed from public health websites.

The order was subsequently overturned.

On Monday, Rep. Andy Ogles, a Republican from Tennessee, filed House Resolution 157, which accuses the judge of “high crimes and misdemeanors” over the temporary restraining order. The bill was subsequently referred to the House Judiciary Committee.

“John Deacon Bates, a judge of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, engaged in a pattern of conduct that is incompatible with the trust and confidence placed in him,” the lone article of impeachment in the resolution begins.

About time. There was no cogent argument for what he did, except to block actions by a President that he found objectionable. No legal reason or argument for it. Just abuse of power.

I hope this is a lesson other activist judges, of any political bent or philosophy.
