Awesome: Citizenry in action

So the government of Green Charter Township backed a Chinese backed EV Battery plant that wanted to open there. It would have meant about 2500 jobs.

The citizens? Not so much. 3200 or so citizens were against it.

But the Township Board members chose to push the plant.

The township citizens voted them out…all 5 of them.

We need more of this. All across the country. Local,County, State and especially Federal government.

And there ya go…the start of the US conflict in the Middle East:

Next will be Troops Occupying some spaces for Security….

Then things will spiral. It’ll be Muslims against the West….

The U.S. military on Wednesday said American warplanes struck a weapons storage facility in eastern Syria that officials said was being used by Iran-backed militants responsible for dozens of drone and rocket attacks against American troops in the region over the last three weeks.

“Today, at President Biden’s direction, U.S. military forces conducted a self-defense strike on a facility in eastern Syria used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and affiliated groups,” Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said in a statement. “This strike was conducted by two U.S. F-15s against a weapons storage facility. This precision self-defense strike is a response to a series of attacks against U.S. personnel in Iraq and Syria by IRGC-Quds Force affiliates. The President has no higher priority than the safety of U.S. personnel, and he directed today’s action to make clear that the United States will defend itself, its personnel, and its interests.

“The United States is fully prepared to take further necessary measures to protect our people and our facilities. We urge against any escalation. U.S. personnel will continue to conduct counter-ISIS missions in Iraq and Syria,” he said.

So who pays the bills for the “Palestinians”?

They have, essentially, no economy. They have little arable land, and their water supplies are almost all (except for that which is supplied by Israel) contaminated with salt and (mostly) sewage….They can barely (OR NOT) grow enough food to feed their people….

So who pays the bills? Water, energy, food, etc? Where does the money for this come from? Who pays for the people, the infrastructure (what is left)? It certainly isn’t from exports or industry….Someone is paying….It isn’t Israel, it isn’t Jordan, It isn’t Syria and it isn’t Egypt. None of those countries, not even the majority Muslim ones, wants the “Palestinians” as refugees, and they aren’t giving money to feed, or house the folks in Gaza..

So who is?

My first thought was “Why are Ukrainian Special Forces in Sudan?”

I mean, what with the war already going on in Ukraine and all that shit…. Since Ukraine needs 100 Billion dollars from the US (less 10% for the Big Guy, of course) to be able to continue to defend against the Russians….

It ain’t like Sudan is a weekend trip away either.

Video shows ‘Ukrainian special forces’ “cleaning up” Wagner mercenaries operating in Sudan with RPG ambush in the city streets’

You’d think that what with Ukraine being out of money and having to fight the Russians on their own turf  they’d not have time for revenge in Africa.

Maybe they aren’t as out of money as they claim?

FAFO

I’ll donate to the Tuba Player’s bail fund….

Football fan gets into opposing team band Tuba player’s face…

It does not go well fir the fan.. 4 punches WHILE STILL PLAYING the tuba, Fan goes down, hard.

Fan learns a lesson. Maybe.

If people had ever learned decent behavior, things like this wouldn’t happen. But a fair number of people never got their asses beaten for bad behavior as kids or teens, so they encounter people who simply won’t put up with them and their bad behavior as adults. And that lesson is often painful.

Of course Hamas wants a ceasfire

They are getting their asses kicked. It’s a story we have seen play out before many times. They’ll just use the pause to rearm/reposition and then try to fight again until their position becomes untenable, then they will (again) ask the UN to to broker a ceasefire.

Is every Palestinian (ethnic Syrian) as full of bluster and invective until push comes to shove, then they want someone to step in and protect them?

So far I haven’t seen evidence otherwise.
