I mean, there’s breezy, there’s windy, and then there’s WINDY….

We are having WIND……. 50 knots. Now that is windy.

The good news is that the leaves are all moved around and most of the ones on the ground are elsewhere….and most of the ones that were still on the trees are no longer on the trees.

The bad news is that the forecast was for 15-20 knots so I had not secured the trash cans. My trash may be in another county now, which irks me greatly.

The winds aren’t unusual for December…..But we had a thunderstorm on Friday evening…which is unusual for December…..

But hey, Klimate Change, amIrite?

They’ve convinced me that it is a good idea.

I mean, the Social Pressure…All those ads….. I think it is time.

Nah, just messin’ with ya.

Not a fuckin’ chance in hell that’s gonna happen.

Yeah, this isn’t history repeating itself…

But this is eerily reminiscent, innit?

Not that there was much to recover from, mind you.

A healthy young woman, with no other medical issues (obesity, diabetes, other comorbidities), gets Covid….Has a slight fever and the sniffles and a sore throat.

And 10 days later, is symptom free and tests negative and is pronounced cured….and cleared to return to work.

Funny though….if it were not for the fact that Covid was so much in the public eye she’d have treated it as a common cold.

She looks at this as a blessing as she wasn’t terribly comfortable with the whole Covid Shot thing anyway….so now she doesn’t need the Jab to work as a commercial pilot.

In other words, Much Ado about Nothing since she was healthy to start with….

Would that we had a national will and leaders like that today.

Probably more guts and determination than any 3 normal men, he did his best and made the country a better place….for all of us.

He passed this Sunday, age 98.

Had a neighbor give me a coupon for a free Dominoes Pizza.

So What The Hell, I tried one.

Now, they don’t deliver to the place I live (no one does), so I had to drive to the place after I ordered it online. 12 miles/15 minutes…

They guarantee 2 minute delivery to your car from when you pull up (after they text you to tell you your pizza is ready).

I got there just as the text arrived, Followed directions and texted “Here” back to them (per instructions) and waited.

And waited.

Aaaannnd waited.

After 8 minutes, I got a text telling me that I would get another free pizza in recompense for my wait.

Finally got my pizza shortly after that and drove home.

It wasn’t worth the drive , the wait, nor the gas expense to go get it. I have had better frozen pizzas. Off brand frozen pizza. Leftover off brand frozen pizza, for that matter. Possibly the box might have been better fare…

Now I know why my neighbor gave me the coupon.

I tossed the remainder out back for the raccoons.
