Trump’s $355 MILLION dollar judgement is not reparations to someone or a comapny, not compensation for damages. Not paying damages to anyone. There were no damaged parties in this suit. No single financial institution claimed damages, nor will any company that did business with Trump or his organization get a dime from the judgement against him.

Nope. Instead, this is a fine. A fine levied against the Trump organization for ….something.

Again, this is not “damages” nor will the monies go to anyone that did business with him or his organizations…this is money taken by the State of New York as a fine….for a “crime” with no victims, and without damages. Just a complaint by the state that they didn’t like the way he did businesses. There were no “Injured Parties”, just an unhappy state’s attorney with a political agenda.

Think about that. No damages, no complainants….just the state extracting revenge for …..?

When you treat people who treat you badly the same as they treat you, they often get all butthurt and angry.

I mean, I think he got screwed, and should appeal the verdict.

But I’m not gonna contribute to the Go Fund Me for Donnie that is (supposedly) gonna pay his $350+ million fine and expenses.

He’ll win on appeal, but for now, that’s his worry, not mine. Part of the ccost of doing business in New York.

But apparently there’s enough folks that wish to help pay his fine…so that he has already collected $77K (as of 14:30 Central time on 2/17/24)

More power to him. But count me out.

I mean, we have Alexei Navalny all over the news…He died in a Russian prison camp , arrested for defying Valdimir Putin and being an opposition candidate. Lots of stories about him being killed, All over the news. Wall to wall converage of his death with lots of speculation. Lots of condemnation of Putin and Russia.

And yet we also have Gonzalo Lira, who was pro- Putin.pro Russia, but anti Volodymyr Zelensky and anti-Ukraine…… Imprisoned in a Ukrainian jail, his recent death went unremarked. And the mainstream media is practically silent.

Funny innit, how that works?

Not saying false testimony should be ignored, or go unpunished…But lets have some realistic single standards…If he goes to jail then the others should have some consequences as well. We gotta start having one standard for justice, not one for Democrats and their operatives and another for Republicans. I really don’t care which one you choose, but apply the laws equally.

This double standard shit is getting irritating.

Since it wasn’t terrorism, wasn’t a (radical) Muslim,  we now find, after the dust clears, that it was the Usual Suspects.

Two Kansas City Chiefs parade shooting suspects are JUVENILES who were having a ‘personal dispute’: Ten questioned over gun chaos that killed one, injured 21, and shamed the city on its big day.

So a bunch of Amish  urban kids in a (likely) gang type dispute chose the crowd as a good place to start tossing lead at each other. No surprise, we see it all the time in the folks that live in the South Side of Chicago. There is a demographic that just wants revenge and doesn’t care who they harm in the process.

I figured this, based on what the news report DIDN’T say, but waited until the official news confirmed it before posting.

I got kicked off of being able to post comments at Ms Misfit’s blog for asking the hard questions and pointing out the truth rather than the adulterated version she likes to post.

She got pissy when I pointed out the missing information about the “Border Security Bill”…that it doesn’t provide for any actual security,…Which is why most republicans don’t want to vote for it despite the really nice name…

Plus I liked pointing out the double standards she had in judging politicians, especially Trump Vs Biden…

Funny how Liberals and (most) women don’t like it when their preferred narrative is interrupted with things like truth and those pesky facts, innit?

I guess she didn’t like me breaking into her dream world with reality.
