“Defensive in Nature”

Yeah, fuck.

Pentagon will deploy US forces to the Middle East after Iranian attack on Saudi Arabia oil facilities

And exactly who is paying for this?

Saudi?

‘Cause if we are gonna expect NATO nations to pay their fair share, then we sure as hell should be getting a deposit for the cost of this deployment from the House of Saud.

There isn’t one thing the US needs that is in the Gulf.

We don’t need their oil. The rest of the world, maybe, but not the US.

Their religion government is antithetical to ours, they have squeezed the blood and treasure of our nation for nearly my entire lifetime, and there is certainly nothing there that is worth even one US service member’s blood, much less life.

Not that the media told you that….

But then again, they have failed to tell the truth about a lot of things, haven’t they?

From HERE

The sad part is that a whole bunch of folks never bother to investigate and therefore believe what the media tells them.

Note: I cannot confirm the above. Nor can I find data to refute it. Could be that it is “Fake but Accurate”
If you can do either, please inform me and I will correct this post if necessary.

I wonder why?

There seems to be a campaign among the media to ramp up the “Glowbal Warming Climate Change” panic (again). The statistics they quote are, at best misleading, the stories they push are very close to lies, and the graphics they publish are dramatic, but, again, misleading at best.

This comes close to lies, and is, to anyone who bothers to investigate, is propaganda.

What is the end game here?

Promises to violate that oath

I mean, how many of the DNC candidates have you heard promise to violate one or more parts of the Constitution:

Squelch free speech that they don’t like.

Ban firearms.

Confiscate property.

Violate due process.

In a just world, these folks would be automatically barred from higher office simply due to their statements,

Big storms this morning

Lots and lots of rain.

And, invariably, some folks trash a car by driving into water that is too deep, and have to be rescued…some drown.

This happens every time we get flooding rain.

How can people be so stupid?

The wrong side:

So a friend had some credit at a flight school that she wasn’t gonna use….and the flight school wasn’t gonna refund it, either……So I thought that I’d use some of it and pay them the amount I used.

I got a rental 172 and a safety pilot and flew from the right seat, rather than the left.

Wow, what a perspective change. And WOW, what a difference using the right hand to fly and the left hand to throttle.

Turns and climbs were ok, Approaches were less than smooth, but ok.

Landings….yeah, not so much. The fine control needed for a good landing is lacking. It’ll get better with practice though.

Plus my shoulder and arm were tired.

But, I did land, even with a quartering headwind of 6 knots gusting 22. Not as smoothly as I normally do, but well enough.
And, best of all, the plane can be used again.

More  of this next week.

Changing sides on a plane is harder than changing sides on a car when driving in the UK.
