It is theater, nothing more…..Make no mistake, Covid-19(D) is a bad thing to get….but the “rise in cases” is a rise, not an(other) out of control “Pandemic”.
So what is the real reason for the fearmongering?
So they chose to validate the claims of Sexual Harassment by Governor Cuomo…
And, of course, the Big Media has the emotional Propaganda Machine in high gear to make sure he looks bad.
Look: I don’t like the dude, and I think he is a slimeball…and I really don’t know if he is guilty or not…..having said that, Why now for the allegations to come up?
Seems that the new “Infrastructure Bill” has lots of (surprise!) non infrastructure funding in it….Like the one that will start a pilot program for tracking your vehicle so that a per mile fee can be assessed.
Some see this as a method of taxing private transportation out of existence, and this is possible….But unlikely.
I believe it is more about tracking you. One can leave one’s personal tracker (that cell phone in your pocket or purse) at home (gee, officer, I forgot it at home) but if the powers that be can track your car, then you have no way to not be tracked…Public transportation already has (in most instances) facial recognition at the terminals, and, while there are license plate readers on most major highways, these can be bypassed with different routes.
Your car, if it is less than 10 years old, already tracks you, but that can be bypassed with the pull of a fuse to shut down the infotainment system that controls the GPS…..but maybe not so much if there is a mandated-by -the-Federal-government tracker on your car….
So you can be private, if you work at it….right now. But not if the government funds research to allow your car to be tracked.

The story is everywhere, even when the statistics don’t match the message….and all the same, even to the language they use.
“Covid Cases Climbing!!!” ….200 percent increase in cases! (where it went from, say 12 to 25)
“Hospitals Overwhelmed again” When the number of cases has, of course, doubled from 15 to 30 (200 percent of last week!), and total cases are well below the levels of last year, and Intensive care cases are at about 10% of peak…..and ventilator use is less than 5 % of peak….I just can’t see how that meets the definition of “Overwhelmed”…..
“Unvaccinated people causing spread of Delta variant”….yet over 30% of the new cases are already-vaccinated people…..and they are the ones who can have it and asymptomatically spread the Covid. rather than most of the unvaccinated….who are at least mildly symptomatic….making the statement be partially a lie.
I am trying to figure out why whoever it is that wants everyone “Vaccinated” wants it so badly? Badly enough that someone is organizing the message to “get vaccinated” even to using the same wording in multiple locations and on multiple news media outlets….Chicago, New York, LA, Atlanta…different outlets yet the exact same wording of the message….and, ultimately, essentially untrue reporting….no “:surge” no “Overwhelmed Hospitals”, etc.
Someone is pushing the message, and for a reason….and forcing this coverage must cost…..so why?

Gov Abbott of Texas signed an executive order preventing “Ground Transportation” of potentially infected migrants (should be illegals) into communities within the state.
I am not sure if he can really enforce it against the Feds, but it is a nice try.
Remember last year, when part of the excuse for forcing everyone to wear a mask was that the Coronavirus-19 was terribly contagious and dangerous and was even more contagious than the common cold? More than the flu?
Now we are told that this new strain, the Delta strain is even more contagious than the Common cold or even the flu….and also that it might make people even sicker…..
Of course, they are also claiming in the article that this is causing a rapid increase in cases and deaths…but the numbers tell a different story…..our case count is still lower than it has been in a year, and deaths are lower than they have been since the start of the outbreak.
So are the healthcare spokespersons lying, or the media lying….or both. Further, since the original coronavirus was supposed to be incredibly contagious, and now we have the NEW! Improved! Even MORE Contagious! version …were they lying then, or are they lying now? Or is it just a fearmongering tactic since they can’t seem to get the other half of the country (myself included) to take the covid vaccination treatment.??
You can expect folks to believe you until they find out that the First time you cried WOLF! you lied…Seems to me that there was lesson like that in some stories the parents told me when I was a ci…..and the Media and the CDC never learned.
I’m still waiting for my apology Fauci and the the CDC for their original prediction of 4.6 Million dead…based on really BAD data and a really bad model….and they haven’t apologized for that nor their other bad predictions. Instead we get NEW! Improved! Bad Predictions. of the same old repeat of the same old fear lines.
If you aren’t strong enough to deal with the stress of competition, especially the level of competition found in the Olympics, then you should not go to the Olympics as a competitor. Let someone else go in your stead.
Stress in a competition is found everywhere that people test themselves against others. Shooting matches, wrestling, races, gymnastics, Martial Arts, etc. Stress is a PART of the competition. Olympic levels of competition mean Olympic levels of stress… If you are so psychologically and emotionally fragile that you are unable to compete, then you are not an Olympic level competitor. Stress is, in other words, part of the game.
