Typical government employee attitude. Perhaps the pilot should remind the controller that the controller’s job is to serve the needs of the pilot.
Stuart, the dude was all idiotic about things. He had complained about the vectors 4 times to Approach.
Yes, they are supposed to “serve the needs of the pilot” but only as to safely navigating the plane onto an approach and keeping the planes from conflicting.
Not quite the same as being a whiney asshole pilot on practice IFR approaches.
The Great Lakes Approach controllers do a very good job.
