I have to assume that it is either Hunter’s, or one of Joe’s close advisors. Since they haven’t yet blamed anyone else, we must assume that it belonged to someone close to Joe that he and his administration really don’t want us to know.

Either that, or we must assume that the Secret Service is totally incompetent as a reason why they are unable to find partial fingerprints and cannot use surveillance footage to find the culprits…Or that they are deliberately not telling us that they know who it is while the damage control folks brainstorm a way to make it go away. (Or they are hoping that they can just wait it out and people will forget).

So this guy (Who is no saint) claims to have data on Joe’s dealings with the Chinese..

And, oddly, he is now being pursued by the DOJ. Funny how that happens, innit?

I expect he will soon be found and silenced.

Seems that France has issues….they want to not only cut off the Freedom of the Press, but censor or stop “Social Media”….

And remotely tap your phones, laptops, cars, etc.

On Wednesday, President Macron proposed “to regulate or cut” social media in case of future unrest. The French TV channel Euronews reported Wednesday:

French President Emmanuel Macron discussed the possibility of banning access to certain social media features, in a meeting with local mayors in the cities that have seen violent protests.

Macron told about 300 local leaders that “we need to reflect on social media use among the youngest [and] on the prohibitions we must put in place,” in a video seen by some French and international media.

When things get out of hand, perhaps you have to put yourself in a position to regulate or cut them,” Macron added.

Under a new justice reform bill presented this week, French law enforcement is seeking power to remotely access the mobile devices of suspected individuals.

The French newspaper Le Monde reported Thursday:

French police should be able to spy on suspects by remotely activating the camera, microphone and GPS of their phones and other devices, lawmakers agreed late on Wednesday, July 5. Part of a wider justice reform bill, the spying provision has been attacked by both the left and rights defenders as an authoritarian snoopers’ charter, though Justice Minister Éric Dupond-Moretti insists it would affect only “dozens of cases a year.”

Covering laptops, cars and other connected objects as well as phones, the measure would allow the geolocation of suspects in crimes punishable by at least five years’ jail. Devices could also be remotely activated to record sound and images of people suspected of terror offenses, as well as delinquency and organized crime.

We in the US are about one step away from this.

The “Take Your Ghetto Kids Downtown” event went off with only minor glitches, according to my Chicago Cop friends.

Their theory is that it went well because it happened during the late morning and early afternoon hours, and was very well chaperoned. All participants were back home before 6 PM.

Apparently, as long as someone is willing to pay the bill,  they plan on doing this nearly every weekend.

Showing poor young black kids how to behave in public might not be a bad idea.

I mean, I’ll go 8-5 that this goes sideways about 4 hours in.

Either the kids will get squirrely, or the merchants will be so frightened that they won’t be willing to serve the needs of the kids, and then the kids will protest and things will get pear shaped.

Plan to bring inner city kids to downtown: My block, my hood, my city aims to bring 1000 kids downtown.

I think that, kids being kids, young adults being what they are, that unless they are well chaperoned it ain’t gonna go well,,,,like no more than 3 or 4 kids per chaperone. I’m not saying it is a bad idea, but brining anyone, especially kids, to a new environment where they will be expected to behave differently is a recipe for missteps….and those missteps will likely reflect badly on the rest as a group. I mean, put me in a formal russian or Japanese dinner and I will likely make an ass of myself. Only add color and other cultural markers in….and kids who should, but don’t, speak decent english…and whose morals and values are somewhat different than the norm in the area….Not saying they are bad kids, nor bad people. Just that the differences in the environment from where they have been raised are great, yawningly wide and may pose an obstacle to acceptance. After all, the merchants and people downtown have very little experience in non-marauding groups of black kids 

I hope they pull it off with no issues, but I have my doubts.

Seems that the folks under arrest for the “Mass Shootings” at Independence Day parties are teenagers. While no one has said that they are black and the news media has only specified them as “Teens”, we can generally infer that if the race of the perpetrators is not identified in such circumstances, it is generally black…and since the demographics of those areas were such that a white person would stand out, we can further assume their race.

But no one is pointing out that it isn’t whites, hispanics, orientals, asisans, Pacific islanders, eskimo/idigienous people, etc. No news agency wants to identify them at all, really, but they especially won’t tell us that they are black.

Hiding the fact doesn’t man that the rest of us can’t see the issue.

The Media (both CBS and NBC at least) are complaining about Gun Violence over the Independence Day holiday…where there were more than a few mass shootings. SO far I count 21, but I may have missed some…

Yet, strangely, all the ones they have shown were of large gatherings of black citizens enjoying the festivities. They wouldn’t come out and say so, but the videos showed that exclusively….I am sure that if there had been large groups of white people shooting at each other, we would have had much (and often replayed) video of it….but all we see are crowds of black people running from the gunshots (I would not be surprised if many of the injuries were from being trampled in the stampede). Always black people. Funny, that.

Perhaps, instead of blaming the guns, and calling for greater restrictions, we should limit the size of crowds of black people…..To prevent violence of course.  ‘Cause that seems to be as great a factor in these shootings as the guns.
