Wednesday Words of Wizdom Five Seven

“No matter your age, the people you associate with today will shape your future”

“Don’t whine when you get what your actions earned”

This space intentionally left blank

“Never tolerate disrespect, not even from yourself”

“Everyone leaves, learn to survive alone”

“Do not place your happiness in the hands of others”

“If you cannot change things, don’t fret about them”

“Everything in moderation…..including moderation”

“Never be someone’s sometimes”

“If you are not growing, then you are withering.”

New York City is screwed

IF you live there, get out.

I expect the city will be broke and in bankruptcy is less than 2 years.

They elected a Communist.

Much like Chicago, they will drive themselves over a fiscal cliff .

On the one hand, I wouldn’t care, let them.

On the other hand, they will help drag the US dollar to yet unheard of highs of inflation. It is bad enough that California (and Chicago) is devaluing our currency (and that our Congress is letting that happen) but now New York City is going to do the same.

Not sure if it is legal….

But it is a good idea:

Texas governor warns any New Yorkers trying to flee south after Mamdani’s win will be slapped with 100% tariff

Make those assholes stew in the dish they are cooking up.

We have that where I live…the Chicago people leave because of high taxes, an oppressive government, liberal policies that lead to high crime and too many immigrants….Then when they get here they vote for the same shit that broke their old state..

Huh, it didn’t just “go off”….Amazing, that.

All the Sig 320 haters that were so vociferous about how dangerous the 320 family of pistols were and who couldn’t wait toi destroy Sig for their pistol supposedly “going of int he holster ” on an Airforce base should admit they were idiots and apologize for their asinine statements.

Airmen covered up details of fatal shooting after ‘joking’ with pistol
Two security forces airmen at F.E. Warren Air Force Base admitted to covering up for a third who shot Airman Brayden Lovan while “joking” with his service pistol.

Bet they all, every single one, of the critics of Sig fail to man up though.

Interesting…only one day…

According to the Chicago Media, everyone who is currently on food stamps is starving, dying of hunger immediately (after only ONE day) after the lack of their SNAP card not being refilled on the first of the month.

‘Tis the second day that SMAP benefits have not been renewed and yet, according to the people they are interviewing, they (and their kids) are all starving and about to die from hunger and malnutrition.

Of course each of the mothers they interviewed on the South Side of Chicago could easily lose 50 or more pounds and had recently renewed their fingernails and eyelashes and hair extensions….But that isn’t anyone’s business…

They looked surprised….

So I am out to dinner the other night with some folks….they were a bit less conservative that I am…

The conversation wandered a bit, but it struggles when they asked a question at the restaurant…

Question: “What would you do right now if there was an active shooter that came into the restaurant right now? ?”

Me: “Shoot back, of course”

I don’t think that was the answer they were looking for/

SO Poor people who don’t work

are more important than the people who DO work…

U.S. District Judge John McConnell ruled that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) must use available contingency funds to ensure SNAP benefits are paid out “as soon as possible.”

“The judge emphasized that halting SNAP funding would cause “irreparable harm” to millions of Americans relying on these benefits for food. He stated that the need for food assistance outweighs concerns about reserving funds for potential future emergencies”

(My real question is “Does this judge have the Constitutional right to disburse million and millions and millions of tax dollars??? Isn’t that the purview of Congress only? ?”)

So why are the poor, somehow more important than our soldiers, sailors ,coasties and Airmen? What about the “harm” that not being paid does to them? How about all the other federal workers who aren’t being paid?

Why are the lazy poor(and yes, that accounts for well over 3/4 of the recipients)  more important than the Air Traffic controllers or the TSA agents, or, or that matter, more important than the rest of the government workers (and the Military)…(we can get to the question of “are they needed” later,

But why are the POOR folks (many of whom are just not willing to work because they get Food Stamps and other assistance so they don’t have to) more important than all the Rest?

Why didn’t he order the FAA to move funds around so that the air traffic controllers get paid, or the Department of Defense to pay the folks in the Military. ?

Why did Judge McConnel not order the Senate and our congressmen back to work, force them to fund the assorted programs?

Why are people that sponge off the rest of the citizens, who are NOT productive, more important in the eyes of the Judge than our other people who are funded by the government, who actually show up and do something?

I think they are afraid of those folks rioting and making the rest of the citizens grow angry when they see just how ungrateful they are
