for Agent Ross’s actions seems to be that “Last year he was dragged 200 yards by an arrestee trying to escape”.
This, however does not make a good reason for shooting Ms Good….In fact, it undermines their whole “state of mind” argument.
If he was still disturbed by the prior incident, was his judgement rational? (IF , and it is an IF, we accept that he was, in fact, in fear for his life)…Was his judgement sound? Or was it affected by and based upon PTSD from last year’s incident…, which would make him unfit for such duty as he was on that day, as his judgement was impaired by previous experiences…..
Not saying this was so, but the excuse about the dragging incident doesn’t help his case….
Yeah, he probably should have shot the person last year.
He learned his lesson.
