Is the total loss of credibility for Kristi Noem and Tom Homan. (even moreso as they hide their investigation of this latest debacle from every other state and local agency)
Their twisting of the facts and outright lies about the actions that day in order to protect the agents involved and to justify the shooting have destroyed any credibility they might have had.
Now the entire world knows that what they say may or may not be true and that they will lie and hide facts to cover up the actions of their agents.
No one will ever believe what they say again.
That’s the fallout when you blindly protect the actions of brutal cops that you recruited that were rejected by other police agencies.
Shame on you. Go watch the video. It’s easy to sit on your ass and pontificate about what the agent should or shouldn’t have done. When you see the SUV headed right at you, you don’t have that luxury. She went there to cause trouble and ignored legitimate orders from law enforcement trying to do their job. It’s tragic, but you’re pathetic.

So she was executed because she was causing trouble?
I don’t think she is blameless here, mind you, but the agent stepped in front of the vehicle and then shot because was “In fear for his life” ….one step to his right would have changed that situation. It would have taken less time than it did for him to draw his weapon and fire to have moved aside. He too put himself in that situation by moving in front of her. Use the same metric on both of them if yer gonna make that call. The only reason to fire was either to save himself from inescapable danger (that he put himself into) or to protect others in the community because letting her go would have endangered other people later on (which was not the case)…. they knew who she was and could have arrested her later without the danger to the officer or to her.
He was so much in fear for his life standing in front of the car that he was able to hold a cell phone in his left hand to video the encounter. Just think about that.
If you are gonna blindly buy the narrative put forth by T. Homan and ICE then you do that.

You don’t have to believe anyone. Walz signed a state law in to protect officers from drivers using their cars as weapons even perceived as intent. They can be shot. You might want to do more research before posting uninformed opinions.

Funny, I read that statute, and it does not specify a vehicle as a weapon anywhere.
2(b) pretty much negates any argument that he might have for self defense when all he had to do was step aside.
It is actually specified in 1.a.2 : t is the intent of the legislature that peace officers use deadly force only when necessary in defense of human life or to prevent great bodily harm (Hint: He stepped aside to prevent from being run over)
You might also look at 2.(a) ii very carefully “is reasonably likely to occur absent action by the law enforcement officer”
