So the Leftists and the pro-Abortion folks (but I repeat myself) are pushing ads about their opponents who, mostly, don’t like abortion.

And they keep brining up the point that in most cases there are “No exceptions for the health or to save the life of the Mother”.

A question: What percentage of abortions are actually performed for the health of, or to save the life of the mother? For that matter, since they bring it up, what about the percentage of abortions that are performed due to incest? And what percentage are simply retroactive conception control for women who ether could not be bothered to use some other form of pregnancy prevention? ?  Does anyone have any source of real, unbiased, data?

I think that if Abortion were “Safe, Legal, and Rare” then there would be no question, and the Right side conservative pro life folks would not have any platform……But I am not sure that it isn’t, all of that, either…..

Either every reporter (for the National News broadcasts, anyway, and many of the locals as well) is just a news reader or they are all actively trying to undermine Trump.

I saw the local CBS tv reporter tell us about the Jan 6 Committee Subpoena to Trump and his reaction to it and her words about Trump included “the claims of a stolen election now proven false”….and the National CBS News broadcast used as well regarding the same topic: “The false claims of a stolen elections”. I heard nearly the exact words on the radio on my way home….. I have noticed that nearly every reporter reading a news story about Trump uses similar, if not identical, wording. So either they are just reading what someone has put in front of then (and who writes their commentary then????) and have no volition of their own or they all are in on the game to make Trump look bad, if only by repeating something that they cannot prove. If they say it often enough, I think that they believe people will believe it. The fact is that we have no idea if the election was stolen. No one bothered to investigate, despite much statistical evidence that there may have been suspicious results….. In fact, in most places where it mattered, there were active court cases to PREVENT any real investigation.

But say it often enough, and loudly enough and liberal follower types will believe it.

We have seen that the Russian offensive in Ukraine is,,,,, less than expected. It appears that the training (quality of troops), Morale, and especially the quality of equipment were much lower than analysts expected. Indeed, the level of resupply was not at the level expected, including munitions, troops and equipment….all fell short of expectations.

So: a question: Will the threatened Russian Nukes even actually work? No one has exploded a Nuke of any kind since 1992 (the US)  and 1990 (Soviet Union). Knowing the Russian quality of maintenance and competence, one wonders if any nuclear weapon that they have are in good repair, with the proper  pieces (like initiators) in place and up to date.  Are the controls well kept and working? Have the weapons warheads been stored properly? (Things like High Explosives are often adversely affected by humidity and temperature). Are all the parts there or did some Russian soldier sell parts for scrap? How about the missiles that carry the warheads?

I’m no expert, and I don’t know much about tactical Nukes, especially Russian ones, nor their handling and storage …or maintenance requirements….but I have worked with Russians, and they can break an anvil and then sell the pieces on the black market all the while reporting that it works fine and has passed the inspections monthly….

One wonders. It isn’t like we don’t have to address the threat, but is it really a threat?

But Nurse Alex Wubbles will get $500K from the ordeal. 

So when she followed the rules of ethics of her profession and the hospital rules,  the officer decided to punish her for not kowtowing to his (assumed) authority and arrested her. (story here).

In a just world, Officer Payne and not the taxpayers (and/or the hospital) would be paying her settlement…and he’d be facing more than just firing. He should be in jail after abusing his authority….And every other officer who stood by and watched the illegal arrest should be fired and barred from ever being a law enforcement officer in any capacity.

In other words, Renewables like Wind and Solar (solar in a cloudy  place like England or Scotland!) won’t meet the demand, especially if the Glowball Warmenating causes a cold winter.

All that investment in “renewables” isn’t paying off, is it? All those power plants that have been taken offline in the name of Gaia haven’t been replaced (capacity wise) by all those Billions of dollars invested in “Carbon Free” infrastructure…..(Note that they aren’t really carbon free…the manufacture of the devices takes nearly as much energy as they will produce in their lifetime).

When the government is warning that you will be shivering in the cold and dark, you’d better expect it, and make plans accordingly.

I fully expect that this energy crisis could change the political landscape of Great Britain and much of the rest of Europe.

Is happy about the renewed uptick in tensions and violence in the war between Ukraine and Russia.

I mean, the reporters  get to say “Keev” a whole bunch more times instead of “Kiev”. That way they show their superior intelligence or something.

I have employed several folks with Down’s Syndrome over the years. I found them all, without fail, to be hard workers with great attendance. Yes, they required more training, and more supervision, but they were loyal, hard working employees who were valued and needed. Most of mine, I am proud to say, went on to bigger and better things after working for me and learning that they COULD hold jobs, and with that confidence, grew into stronger people. All most of them need is direction and goal.
