They accomplish NOTHING.

Like most Leftist protests, they impress only themselves and influence no one. Demonstrate their uselessness and impotence. Symbology accomplishes nothing without action. (But hey, they get to act together with their sisters and feel good about themselves. Plus pretty flowers in their hair)

The only thing that truly stops war is naked aggression and violence, or the threat of it.

But their actions make them FEEL like they are doing something, at least. Useless bunch of twits.

Look: I believe that any judge who is at the Appeals Court level is likely qualified to be a Supreme.

But Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson will be forever remembered as the Token Black woman. I kinda a feel sorry for her. That shadow will cover her no matter what she does from here.

It is said that a boat is a “hole in the water into which one throws money”.

Such it also is with airplanes….except the hole is bigger and deeper.

The 340 had a starting issue after sitting for two weeks….and it didn’t have enough battery to start the engine when I tried to…the starter turned the engine until the top of the compression stroke and then…nothing.

Pulled the panel on the wing, disconnected the battery (3 different screwdriver types!) and put it on the tester….Fail. Left it in the maintenance shop overnight on the “desulphate” setting…Fail.

No choice, ordered a new battery. Interestingly enough, the battery that was in the 340 is not the correct battery. same capacity and size, just a non correct part number. (might be an approved replacement, I didn’t check) Ordered the correct battery, and it will be here on Monday. The least expensive lead-acid was “No stock available” with expected ship date in two weeks…at a price of $548,  The Sealed-Lead-acid equivalent ($140 more) was available. The other option was the Concord AGM for yet an additional $108….I chose the middle one as it was available. Pricey. At least I got free ground shipping…..

The mansion purchase by BLM I linked to earlier was bad enough…Nearly 6 million spent on a mansion in California bought by the BLM folks with donations….

But more details are emerging…seems the seller had purchased the same home only 6 days earlier for 3.1 million…and he is (of course) connected to (and working for)BLM founder Patrisse Cullors … The home was sold (the second time) for nearly twice the market price….to the Back Lives Matter organization.

So in 6 days, not only was nearly 6 million dollars of well-meant donations spent on an opulent home by the BLM leadership, but the entity who sold it (owned by Ms Cullors) made a tidy 2.7 MILLION dollar profit on the deal. Ms Cullors claims she is no longer in any way connected to the BLM organization, of course….

And any criticism is…wait for it…..”Racist and Sexist”.

So that’s 2 for the anti Trump prosecutors and one loss.

I guess that when you have people (especially gullible white people) throwing money at you (or the organization that you get to use as your own personal piggy bank) then it must be tempting to spend that money (meant for helping Black Lives and improving the lot of Black people and reducing the incidences of police shooting and killing  struggling and fleeing black suspects) on some sort of huge mansion and other sorts of stuff to show off your new found wealth….

Which might be the real plan…One might think that that is the plan, if one were to mistrust those  who are pulling Slow Joe’s strings. “Weaken the US” has been a DNC cornerstone, especially in the past few years as the DNC power people have become more ascendant.

Seems that now that things are no longer politicized re: Covid, the police in Victoria, Australia want to be friends with the populace again.

DoYa think that anyone will ever trust the police there again? They were Soldiers of the State, and just followed orders….never questioning as to their legality or the rightness of those orders…or the fact that some protests were acceptable (BLM protests) and some weren’t (“No Masks, No lockdown!”). One was a useless and idiotic protest, the other questioned and threatened the power of the State.

Sure, you can trust them….

The War in Ukraine seems to have put the entirety of Europe in a position where Covid has….Vanished.

No one is mentioning it anymore. Refugees are not asked about their vaccination status. No one really cares any more. Odd, innit?

Such a change from 3 months ago. Almost as it the whole thing was made up and isn’t needed as a Crisis anymore.
