I would like to know, exactly, what words the President (Donald J. Trump) supposedly used to “Incite a Riot or Rebellion”. 

Did he say “Go to the Capitol and break in and hang the tratorious bitch, Nancy Pelosi“? Somehow I missed that part.

Did he say “Sack the offices and scare the hell out of those folks who won’t bother to investigate obvious Fraud in our voting process“? Apparently I missed that part too. 

Did he in ANY WAY state that the Capitol should be sacked? 

People purporting to support him did occupy the Capitol…..But I haven’t seen where he told ’em to do so. 

Go ahead, read his speech, feel free to quote the parts where he said that in the comments….be specific. No assumed “coded” words, no interpretation….just the words he used that can convict him of the crime he is accused of. 

(And let’s face it, except when the Congress is in Sesssion, it is just an office building)…..so IF he is guilty, somehow, then when the Hart building was occupied during the Kavanaugh hearings those seators and congressmen who approved of that, who ENCOURAGED that action are also guilty of insurrection and inciting a riot…But there are no charges for those folks, are there?) 

The folks in Congress following Nancy Pelosi know that it won’t make it past the Senate, so this is a symbolic gesture…a “Fuck You” to Trump and his supporters.  The people supporting these charges should be ashamed, that they are using our money, our system, to once again trash the exiting (but legally elected) outgoing president. 

At the end of this, it shows the Character of these legislators. Shows us their True Colors, as it were.

And that’s the rub, isn’t it? Do you trust those who count the votes?

I once did. I was saddened and upset that Barry Soetoro won the Presidency back in 2008….and again in 2012. Both times, however,  I believed that he had legitimately won against the Republican challengers. (Both times they were very weak opponents, but no matter). I believed that the American People had spoken and made their choices. Both times were legitimate victories. At the end of it, while he was not “MY” President, he was, legitimately, “OUR” President. 

Sadly, I cannot say that Joe Biden is “OUR” president. I don’t trust the people who count the votes any longer, nor do I believe the ballots that arrived by mail (and perhaps by other means) were all legitimate. There were too many Red Flags and anomalies and inconsitencies to believe that all the election results are true accounts of the will of the people. And when we objected, there was no realistic attempt to investigate or clarify those oddities…we were just told to accept it. 

People no longer beieve that their vote counts. Even thinking folks on the side that “won” have to be afraid that next time, their vote will not matter either. Yes, there are enough that will accept that winning this round justifies the means that that victory was assured, but thinking people realize what has happened…and what it means for the future. 

What do we do now?

Yet for most of last summer, FaceBook, Twitter and other Social Media sites allowed posts that incited violence for the Burn Loot Murder Black Lives Matter protests…about 40 people, including police officers, died. 

Yet they kept allowing those posts. Over and over again. Fom the same people and groups.  

This is a thnly veiled excuse to silence Parlor. THey won’t use the same standards on Twitter nor Facebook. Were that the case, both of those would be off the App Stores on both Google and Apple. 

But they aren’t. 

Some Pigs are more equal than others. We see this over and over and over.

I expect that Google, which owns Blogger, will follow their past actions in censoring folks on YouTube and start censoring blogs too.

So the Leftists have invaded the WSJ, the Economist, and now Forbes. All of which Used -to-Be non political  financial analysis rags which did well that way. 

Now they are simply another facet of the DNC. 

They will end up being out of business in about 5 years.

Took my (twice delayed due to weather) checkride today. 

Finally.

I didn’t think it was gonna happen. AWC forecast was for 1500 overcast or so…all day. But Foreflight said scattered 1500 clear below 12K. It started out like the AWC forecast so we delayed an hour. Then aother one. Then we cancelled…..And an hour later it cleared and the other forecast was correct… WX brief insited that it was an anomaly, but it lasted all day)

Either way, The examiner drove down and we did the exam.

It wasn’t too bad. The oral portion of the exam was 2 hours, and was pretty thorough…I had it all down except for one question….the answer to which was found in Part 61 of the FAR’s. 

The flying portion went well. Sadly, not perfect, but good enough (I HATE Steep Turns… Can’t do ’em well in any airplane, especially to the right. But I did it (just) to specifications). The ILS on one engine (surprise!) wasn’t bad, if not the best one I ever did.  The rest was good. The short field landing may have been the best I ever did, single or multi engine plane. Total of 1.1 hours of flying, but it seemed much longer. 

All in all, I didn’t screw up badly enough to fail the checkride. Now I get a new license..hopefully the photo on it this time won’t make me look like Wilbur Wright….

 That if Donald Trump does not show up to congratulate Joe Biden on his Coronation inaguration ceremony, that is is a childish act. 

Yes, we know that Joe is an illegitimate President, elected with Fraululent Votes. (and yes, I do believe that)…however, for the next four years (or until Kamala and her people find him incomptent or he is killed suddenly dies), he is the legal President of the United States. 

Not showing up is kinda childish. 

Having said that, so is the idiotic call for impeachement under the 25th amendment. They REALLY hate him, don’t they?

Of course, that was DIFFERENT than the boughaha at the Capitol…beacuse, that’s why.

And beside, these weren’t protesters or rioters, these were Undocumented Entrants…..

 IF the FBI and other Law ENforcement agencies would have taken even half the time and manpower to ID, find, and arrest those folks who did hundreds of millions of dollars of damage over the summer of 2019 in the mostly peaceful “protests”  looting/burning sprees that occured in many large (and Democratically run) cities as they have spent finding those folks who invaded the Capitol building…and are, at most, guilty of Criminal Trespass and minor vandalism. …

But, double standards. Leftist protests Good, Right leaning ones, Bad. 

 It was pointed out to me that the folks “assaulting” the Capitol were wearing an unusually high number of BRAND NEW red Make America Great Again hats. 

I did a quick perusal of the videos early and later in the day, and found that that observaton appeared to be true: the hats worn by the earlier crowd were almost all well worn Later, their hats were nearly all brand new. 

Take from that what you will.
