It probably won’t hold up in court, but the fact that the legislature in Massachusetts even PASSED such a piece of legislation is too scary for me.

So 15 people showed up at the range to do the work we had planned.

Which was, to be honest, about 5 more than I expected. For once, it wasn’t the same 10 guys…

We now have a foundation drain that should actually be functional. Maybe the floor won’t weep water this fall and winter on the indoor range.

Would have been nice to have more help, but hey, we actually had 10% of the membership show up, with tools required to do the job.

Folks, if you belong to a volunteer  or member supported organization, when they need help, try to show up and provide that help. Don’t leave all the work to the 10% of people that are there every work day. If you are a member, the BE A MEMBER. It is more than just paying dues….

Seems like only last week we had a Saturday.

Work day at the range. Will be fixing old storm drains and the bowling pin range (if it can be straightened at all)

General cleanup and such.

I am SO far behind in my work at my house, but this is needful, so I’m going.

I mean, a cop puts a non-resisting person in a chokehold when arresting him. Claims he is resisting because he doesn’t move fast enough and raises his hands to defend himself…. Dude dies.

Luckily, there is video proving the chokehold.

Ruled a homicide by the coroner.

So is the cop going to jail for murder?

But when the NSA is spying on Congress.…well then, that is wrong!

Seems he won his suit for $1.8 Million against Chris Kyle’s estate. 

Dude hasta take from widows and children?  I got no respect for him.

So Friday, we are at the bowling alley, practicing to get the arm and such in shape because league starts on a few weeks.

Standing at the counter is a security guard:  a local cop.

Dude has a tactical vest on, with the front pockets filled with magazines and a bunch of unidentifiable stuff. 2 pockets held Glock mags, which made sense because he had a Glock on his hip.

Three other pockets held what appeared to be AR 30 round magazines…..Plastic ones with the old style fabric pull tab on the bottom.

Being the inquisitive sort of dude that I am, I asked him….”Are those AR magazines?”

“Yep”.

“Why carry all that weight if you don’t have an AR on your shoulder? I mean, yer in a Bowling Alley“

“The AR is in the car, and I need to have the spare mags handy on my vest if/when if I need ’em.” (the car was 150 feet away, through 2 sets of doors)

I think he just wanted to impress all the 14 year old kids that come there on Friday evenings on the summer.

I mean, since DC is now “Constitutional Carry” I wonder how soon anarchy will roam the environs of the city….How red will the streets run? How many thousands upon thousands will dies from being gunned down in the streets?

Or are you, like me, of the opinion that there will be little (if any) effect….Might be a small reduction in crime, rather than the above.

Either way, hearing the lamentations of the Liberals is gratifying.
