Funny innit:

Everyone is talking about the fact that Israel is the power behind the attack on Iran, ….But let’s face it, so is Saudi, and Iman, and Dubai and Kuwait and lots of other Arab and middle east nations.

They all wanted the Persian Ayatollahs reigned in, as they Iranians are a danger to all of them in the region, not just Israel.

Funny how that makes for cooperation, innit?

Methinks they were all responsible in part for the decision to attack Iran by the US.

That’s because of you and your Ilk

Neil Khot of is running for congress in Illinois.

His TV ad (low budget and weak (and late) , so I guess the big money isn’t supporting him) says that he is “afraid to leave his house without his passport” because of ICE. (Dude looks like a very Americanized 1st generation immigrant).

Well, “Neil”, that’s because folks like you supported the DNC plan of unfettered illegal immigration, , and while I strongly doubt you’ve ever had trouble with ICE personally,  the likelihood of illegals living in a state like Illinois, and that people with darker skin will be illegals in a “Sanctuary City” like Chicago (and most of the municipalities around Chicago) is fairly high…and that one need not be a citizen or a legal alien visitor in Illinois to obtain a  diver’s license. …. So you kinda might need that passport (or a passport card). That’s on you and your folks though.

Policies like yours have consequences when the government actually, you know, enforces the law.

We should leave Spain

Since they won’t act like allies, and since we are the ones that (up ’til now) have been their main defenders….our military should leave the country. Pack up all our materiel, all our people, and all our equipment. Take it somewhere else.

And level all the infrastructure built by the US at the airbases that we share with them.

If we built a runway, leave it as broken and unusable pavement. If we built a building, leave it as a pile of rubble. Remove everything of value:  stocks of weapons, materiel, spares, bombs, fuel and food.

Leave it as it was before the US improved it. If Spain didn’t build it then leave it as unusable. Let them build their own airbase and other facilities around the country.

If they can’t play properly, we should take all that we built (and leave them NOTHING) and go elsewhere….Poland isn’t actually all that far away and they would love to have the US based there.

One base at a time, we should dismantle and destroy the infrastructure built by the United States such that there is no value left from what we built for our use that we share with Spain.

Not only the loss of the base, but the economic loss alone would devastate the local economy.

The lesson will not be lost on the other countries.

I am unsympathetic

If anyone is “trapped”, as a tourist or as a worker, in the “War Zone” around Iran, then they really deserve to be trapped. If you are a tourist trapped in the area, you are demonstrably a fool.  If you are a worker for someone, and think that you should go home now because of the current war, then you could have evacuated a week or more ago.

If you were not aware of the fact that war was imminent starting about 2 weeks ago, then you simply weren’t paying attention. You should have left a week or more before. If you didn’t get a flight out when the embassies told their people to “find a flight, any flight, to anywhere beside the Middle East” then you simply deserve the situation you are in right now.

If you were a tourist in Saudi, or Oman or any other Arab country  in the area, (or even Iran, if you were that stupid), or on a cruise ship now trapped on the wrong side of the Strait of Hormuz, then again, you deserve the situation you are in now.

You gotta be smarter than that.

Stop complaining about the situation you put yourself into.

Stop whining that the US authorities aren’t helping you. You chose to put yourself in that situation, and the US has other things to do right now. You are in no more danger than any of the citizens of the countries in which you are currently staying.

‘Tis said

By Iran…., that they have people here, ready to exact revenge for the attack on their homeland…

Maybe the do, and maybe they don’t.

Either way, be specially vigilant and make sure your carry piece is ready.

You never know if there is gonna be some dude that shouts “Aloha Snackbar!!!” (or not)  and does something nasty (or tries to) to you or your fellow citizens.

Be able to be the first responder, if necessary.

If anyone is surprised by this, you haven’t been paying attention

“Rubio: “We Knew Israel Would Attack Iran, Which Would Lead to an Attack on America” ”  (via LI)

Gee, Israel pushing other countries to help them disarm and decapitate another country that has declared that they will  destroy Israel? The single largest sponsor of terrorism…..a nascent nuclear power that intends to use those bombs on Israel?

At the end of it, if you didn’t think Israel was being manipulative here then you really haven’t been paying attention to things for several years.

INteresting

General Caine is telling us that so far, all the new and innovative ordinance that the US and Israel have used so far have worked well.

Plus, he is giving credit to the National Guard and to the logistic staffers that are making the continued attacks possible. While the warriors at the tip of the spear are doing the dangerous work, they couldn’t do so without all the people supporting them, and he acknowledged that.
