Personal destruction

Have you noticed something about the left  (and about whoever controls the headlines)?

I mean, Eric Swalwell has had issues for years, yet no one said much about it, until he became too large for his britches and the DNC needed to get him off the ballot for Governor of California….

Then, as usual came the parade of bimbos who claimed he had somehow done something vaguely sexual, or who had slept with him or that they had failed to mention (or go to the police about it) that he had raped them…..all actions having taken place years ago.

I find it interesting that none of these women ever complained about his actions until it became convenient for whoever controls the narrative to remove him. I also find it hard to find someone credible when she stayed silent about the traumatic episode that (supposedly) happened 2 or 3 or even 6 years ago….that somehow she never mentioned until someone in power found it convenient for her to mention it.

Notice a pattern? It happens to lots of men in power. (Weinstein is but one example) Somehow, they offend multiple women over years. but none of them ever says anything until someone wants the targeted man removed…then suddenly these women show up out of nowhere…..and the news suddenly cares where they didn’t before.  Maybe telling the truth, maybe not. It is never just one woman either. It is always 3 or more, usually 5 or six…..and they all have the same sort of story that can’t be verified because it happened many years ago. But there is a sudden avalanche of offended women. Strange that none of them every come forward with their accusations of rape or inappropriate touching until they all do (at the same time), innit? And funny how the rape accusations never end up as criminal charges. Odd, that. One would think that if a powerful man had raped a woman as she claimed (often multiple times), that she would go to the police…but they strangely never do. And you’d think that if a powerful and wealthy man had fondled or inappropriately touched women that they would have sued for harassment (and likely quit their job over it) but also, they never seem to do that. And they never mention it until someone needs them to.  It’s never just one woman that stayed silent for years, it is often many…and they all independently decide to speak up at once.  Coincidence??

I find their credibility lacking. But if you say something loud enough in an outraged tone, often enough, it seems to work.

I guess some people, especially women, will do anything for money.

I am glad that Swalwell is gone, mind you, but the method that they used is starting to wear thin. Same playbook, same plays, different players. I expect that the person or persons pulling the strings here remains the same as well.

Remember, if they can choose to do it to him, they can do it to you as well.

Why now?

It isn’t like this is the first time that Swalwell has had issues…sleeping with women he isn’t married to, etc. (Plus the Chinese spymaster mistress)…

Why, suddenly, is he getting the Weinstein treatment?

What changed that his usefulness has come to an end and they need to discard him?

Enquiring minds and all that.

When are we gonna see some prosecutions?

I mean, some serious jail time, some prosecutions, get some renumeration for the billions in fraud perpetrated by the Somali “community” ? (and, let’s face it by many others in the US for both the the healthcare and the childcare fraud)

When are we gonna see some of that money returned to the taxpayers?

Is the inaction part of Pam Bondi’s legacy? Is it just that the Feds don’t care? Are they , like the Epstein case, waiting for the Statute of Limitations to kick in?

Are things on hold because these people provided the proper kickbacks to politicians?

Seriously, WTF?

I think we should absolutely do it

Pull our presence from those NATO “allies” that refused to cooperate with the US this time against Iran.

Take, for instance the fact that Spain refused to allow the use of the airbase at Torrejón  and other airports for support aircraft in the operation against Iran.

Were it me, I’d pull all personnel and all equipment off the base, and destroy everything  that the US had bult at those airports….buildings, refueling, fuel storage, and runways. Let the explosives engineers have fun. Leave nothing that the US built since the inception of NATO.

Even if you left the infrastructure, the loss of US personnel would be a devastating blow to the economy. Like make the local area end up like Flint, Michigan, Destitute.  But I wouldn’t leave anything that the US had built or paid for either.

I’d do the same to Rota, the naval base.

Nothin that the US built should be left for the use of the spaniards. No US money spent in their local economy, nothing left of the installations but rubble.

I am sure that the folks in Poland would welcome the US, and likely pay for an airbase and a port for the US navy. Probably other European nations as well.

England too should get the treatment. They also played games when it mattered, even if they capitulated later.

It’s one thing not participate, it’s another to deny the use of a base that the US mostly built.

They need us, more than we need them.

Teach a (painful) lesson. It won’t be missed by the rest of NATO.

Did anyone

Really think that the cease fire would hold?

That Iran (and, frankly, Israel) would really abide by and honor, any cease fire?

If you do, how do you keep your fingers out of light sockets and other possible dangers?

Underwhelmed

Is NASA that desperate to find something good to say about the  Artemis II mission that they have to inflate the accomplishments? Are they that desperate to demonstrate that they have actually accomplished something?

Apollo 8 travelled 248,655 miles (400,171 kilometers), Artemis II travelled 252,757 miles (406,773 kilometers) ….4102 miles farther…or about 1.6% farther than Apollo 8.

Artemis II made ONE orbit around the moon, Apollo 8 made 8 orbits (real orbits of the mooon)

And Apollo 8 did it 58 years ago…..Before advanced composites, before supercomputers….Hell, you have a computer in your cell phone that is more powerful than all the computers used for the Apollo missions. Combined

But NASA still trumpets a “Record Breaking” mission that is all of 4102 miles farther than what was accomplished (for the FIRST TIME) nearly 60 years ago as if it were a groundbreaking feat. I find it sad that they need to trumpet this as some incredible feat.

Make no mistake, it is an accomplishment. Putting humans into space and keeping them alive while flying past the moon is a wonderful feat and bringing them back alive  But it isn’t all that much more than what was accomplished nearly three generations ago with lesser technology by better men (and women) on the team who didn’t need a participation trophy.
