While not “outraged” they all seem to be intelligent enough to realize that these current behaviors cross the line, and are moved to comment on it.
There is hope for the Media.

Uninspired
Maybe more later.
Wall. Congress: Wall. Now.
I find it interesting that, instead of expecting people to make their towns and cities better there in Mexico, it is somehow OK to bring them to the US, where they cause an increase in crime and lowering of community standards. So what Mexico is really doing is bringing it’s people here to colonize and bring the US down to Mexico’s level. Kinda Socialist, innit?

READ about it HERE (WSJ…may be a paywall, hit reload and then ESC while it is loading))…it seems that thirty years on, their predictions were…..bad.
Of course, they just keep increasing the tidings of Doom in order to get even more funding….
Even when their failure to do so is destructive to them and those around them?
I mean, shootings, stabbings, Drunk Driving felonies….Murderers, blue collar and White collar crime? Domestic abuse? Drug possession? I mean, since we allow folks who cross the border illegally and are detained to keep their kids, why not all lawbreakers?
We are gonna have to build bigger prisons then.
Lots bigger. And probably add private showers and Playrooms…
Yeah, but that’s different. He was the LightBringer(er)…Today, it is Trump.
Even CNN is noticing the double standard. Which means it is pretty damned obvious.
Today, the most dangerous toy in the world is a Water Balloon Slingshot.
I find that sad.
I had toys that would burn you, cut you, and, if you did it right, I could make shit that would give you chemical burns and probably blind you available in my chemistry set.
I mean, really? The best you can do is a water balloon slingshot?
We had Jarts, which were heavy, sharp pointed real lawn darts. One had to learn to Stay Out of The Way when they were falling.
I had a lead soldier kit. Yeah, real molten lead and some molds. One learned quickly to Not Spill Molten Lead On Your Skin.
Real Bows and Arrows. With points.
BB guns. Don’t Shoot Your Brother In The Face. (the ass was OK though).
Other toys too, all potentially lethal or damaging.
And we survived.
Water Balloons? Really?
The parents, of course, blame everyone but themselves.
” No plexiglass. Not protected. Not held down . . . There was no border around it. There wasn’t even a sign around it that said, ‘Do not touch.”.
Watch the video. Kid was unsupervised. Totally.
I think the kid’s parents should be forced to pay the bill.
I used to run a motel. Parents would leave their kids to run round for HOURS. from a young as 2 or three….No supervision, no one watching them…either to discipline or protect ’em from predators. If they got up to mischief, or got hurt, they tried to blame the business. If we tried to stop little Suzy or young Hunter from climbing into the vending machine or something, we were castigated because she/he “Isn’t your child” .
Parents are responsible for the behavior of their child, even up to and including damage they do, either through maliciousness or carelessness.
Deutschland to give up it’s 10% protective tariff on US made automobiles.
Odd, that. Tariffs are bad….right?
