Sadly, these incidents are growing ever more common

So, yet again, the police resort to violence for no good reason….except that they can.

Far too many of our police officers are way too violent, too quick to anger and have issues with people who refuse to obey them slavishly. Many appear to have anger issues, likely caused by Steroids or other compounds like that….

Too many are poorly trained, and are given authority way beyond what they should have.

In the case above, one could easily make a case for attempted murder. .All because a man refused to sign a citation…which isn’t required.  Watch the video in the article…Assault, with intent to inflict bodily harm at a minimum. If that were you or me, the charges would already be filed, we’d have been arrested and jailed….This cop  should do time for this.

Way too many larger cities, and even small towns are hiring people psychologically unsuited to be police officers. They have the wrong mentality, the wrong idea of how police are supposed to be….and their training reinforces that. Their CULTURE reinforces that. Too many are bullies, not even suitable to be bouncers in a bar, much less keep order on our streets.  These incidents happen all the time. And generally it is larger cops against smaller men, or women, or teenagers.

The problem is that too many good cops (and yes, there are good cops) let the bad ones slide, refuse to cull their own ranks, because “Blue Wall”…..and the departments refuse to reign them in until things like this happen. Every cop, every supervisor knows which cop on their shift is a problem, but they don’t do anything until it is too late…if at all. They just back each other up.

Thank you

Today is Armistice day in Europe, where they remember all those who gave their lives in WW1 on the day of the signing of the armistice. in 1918

And Veterans Day here in the US…which is more important to me.

Thank you, each and every US veteran, still serving or not, wartime, or peacetime.

I appreciate your service.

Naming (some) names

I am sure the wildlife folks in New York State are just wishing that this whole thing would go away.

But it won’t, at least not until the people responsible, INCLUDING THE JUDGE that signed the warrant, are fired, and make some form of restitution.(although flogging is a good thought as well). Perhaps they should give Mr. Longo, the owner of the animals a chance to punch them in the face once each. Won’t bring Peanut and Fred back, but it would go a long way to making things right….

The overreach, the massive overkill in manpower for the raid, the subsequent list of fuckups is am example of State Gone Mad. Of Officials using their power to harm, rather than for good. The stated aim was for the welfare of the animals, the real reason was because someone had defied the states mandates. At the end of it, are Peanut and Fred better off than they were before the raid? Was their welfare really the reason? This isn’t the first time this sort of “welfare raid ” has happened...but unless and until the people involved are severely punished, it won’t stop happening……Be it wildlife officials or police officers in general.

Now we know some of the names of the people involved in the debacle, although not all of them.

Joshua Crain obtained a search warrant for the animals

Judge Richard W. Rich Jr. authorized the search

“Crain, who was awarded Wildlife Officer of the Year in 2022, is known for his philosophy of prioritizing education over enforcement.”  Yep, pull the other one. It’s got bells.

We don’t know the names of the other officers involved, but they should be outed as well. Each and every one of them, named so their communities can choose to treat them as they should be.

The fact that these people are still employed in any position of power, where they can make any decisions that in any way affect any other people, is a crime…and it shows that , to the state, the bureaucracy matters more that the right thing.

Remember: The squirrel and the raccoon had been kept indoors, with no contact with other animals, for many weeks, even years in the case of Peanut….there was no reason to believe that they had rabies, in fact there was every reason to believe they DID NOT have rabies or any other diseases. Crain should have known this….normal protocol in this case should have been 10 days of quarantine and observation to confirm they did not have rabies, rather than slicing up their brains for a rabies test..

And, of course, the State (and the officer’s union) wants to remind us of this: “‘We ask that the public keep in mind that [DEC officers] are their friends, family, and neighbors and do not deserve to live in fear for upholding the law,”

Yeah, but like the rest of Law Enforcement……unless and until they and their fellow officers start cleaning house, start asking why they need such overwhelming force on a raid (or a Raid at all !), why they always treat people like they do when there is a better, less demeaning, less violent, way.. then maybe I will believe it.

You want respect, and to live in peace in the community you police, you should act like it,

Sunday Thoughts:

The normal person learns more from failure than success. But the already perfect person lacks the capacity to learn anything from defeat other than to conclude that “someone else failed them”.

“Isolated Incident”

Sure, Yeah, I believe that.

Is the person who gave the orders fired? If not, the the management is simply covering their asses.

FEMA management: Avoid homes with Trump signs.

So far, tjhey’ve weaponized the IRS, the Department of Justice, and now FEMA.

And the Left leaning folks that run these departments do not seem to get the idea that it is wrong.

And the Republicans hold “Hearings” but no one ever goes to jail, gets fired, loses their pension, or even gets a slap on the wrist.

They act this way against Conservatives with impunity.

It takes a foreign press to bring this to light….the Us based Media is failing in their job, they just push the Left agenda rather than report news.

Activism over law:

Toldya.

The Left is pressuring Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor to step down before the change of Government so they can appoint a younger Liberal justice that will be able to last for years longer than she can…Preventing the possibility of Trump being able to appoint another of his choices. .They will discard anyone in their drive to push forward their agenda, won’t they?

‘Tis kinda amusing

Watching all the people who went after Donald Trump thee past 4+ years looking pretty scared…..

Realizing that the lawfare that they used with impunity against him, when they thought had no worries about retribution, is likely about to be used against them……They are realizing that they are going to be investigated, and likely (in some cases) charged with crimes.

“Turnabout is fair play” and all that.

I’m not normally a proponent of criminalizing the loser after the election, but this time, I think that giving the Left a taste of their own medicine might be a lesson for those in the future….

I don’t want to set a precedent for future elections here, but then again, as the old saying goes “They started it”

ETA:

It is predicted

that the price of building will soon skyrocket:

Not only will cheap construction labor soon go back south, either voluntarily or via mass deportations…..

But the remaining workers, US citizens all, will be likely tasked with building all those fascist Concentration camps that the Leftists promised us would be built by Trump post election if he got elected…(Which he did!!!)

Since the Federal Government will likely outbid all the rest of us, other building will either get VERY expensive or it will have to wait for a few months until the camps are built. Plus the price of lumber and fence wire will go up until the supply chain ramps up.

Plan accordingly
