Carrying a pistol is not illegal. They took it from his waistband holster…even before they shot him. Just having a gun on your person is NOT an excuse that the Border Patrol can use here.
I’d link videos but you can easily find them on Youtube and other places…. if you bother to look and haven’t decided to swallow the government’s narrative without looking at the evidence. They are pretty conclusive.

B, We discussed in another thread, about the necessity of a second or third shot to end the threat. In this event it appears that the victim was shot NINE additional times while he was LAYING FACE DOWN. What we witnessed from the video was murder. Whether or not justice will follow remains to be determined. It seems Trump administration has weaponized not only the DOJ (as Biden’s administration was accused), but also Border Patrol, FBI, and Customs.

Biden’s people (or the AutoPen) DID weaponize the DOJ against conservatives…..and they lied to protect him….(See also the Hunter files from the Laptop).
Having said that, they didn’t automatically exonerate their agents when the agents fucked up.
They also didn’t recruit cops that were about to be fired for misconduct into their forces either.
Unless, and until, they force the agents to show some identifying marks so they can be identified and thus judged on their actions, they ahve no credibility with folks like me that do want the illegals gone, but not at the cost we are seeing.
I’m all for arresting people (protesters) that go beyond the line during their protests, but shooting and killing them (without any consequences) is another
You cannot reason with the Trump sycophants. They will defend their 2A rights but use possession of a gun as an excuse to kill a protester lying on the ground and disarmed.
Pretti inserted himself BY HIS OWN CHOICE, He was seen recording the actions occurring around him, but deciding to help someone the authorities were in process of detaining – arresting made Pretti a participant and a Possible Bad Guy. He fought the Law and the Law won. People who undergo the Conceal Carry License are told that carrying that also creates far more responsibilities on themselves.
That Pretti carried that to a civil conflict to me creates more conjecture of his motives. Pretti felt he needed his firearm just in case. Inserting yourself in harms way is not a good way to stay out of trouble when you are helping the detained. Pretti chose and lost.
So carrying a firearm is now an excuse for Law enforcement to shoot you?

We don’t have to brandish it, it never has to leave the holster…Not threaten anyone with it….Just carrying it makes us a targe for cops to shoot and you are OK with that, is that right?
B – you appear to need to make it appear that ICE are attacking civilians willy nilly. Their job is to apprehend illegal aliens in our country. People who attempt them from doing their job have different motives for doing so. Instead of preventing ICE from doing their job, why aren’t they REALLY helping the illegals by offering to sponsor them to become legal U.S. citizens. No more hiding. No more fear from a knock at the door. Wouldn’t that be more reasonable ?
If you want to help – then help. If you simply want to help criminals continue to take advantage of U.S. taxpayer, then you hurt us all. If you haven’t noticed, a lot of taxpayers are being refused services that illegals receive for free.

But that doesn’t mean ICE can stop following the laws and limitations we place upon our Law Enforcement. Do their job without any accountability…
They actually DO attack citizens in the street when they make an arrest, just because they are there and can’t move out of the way fast enough.
I’ve seen it and been there (just walking by) at an arrest (and there were no protesters). Unless, and until, you are there when that happens you cannot fathom how they really work.
