Pull our presence from those NATO “allies” that refused to cooperate with the US this time against Iran.
Take, for instance the fact that Spain refused to allow the use of the airbase at Torrejón and other airports for support aircraft in the operation against Iran.
Were it me, I’d pull all personnel and all equipment off the base, and destroy everything that the US had bult at those airports….buildings, refueling, fuel storage, and runways. Let the explosives engineers have fun. Leave nothing that the US built since the inception of NATO.
Even if you left the infrastructure, the loss of US personnel would be a devastating blow to the economy. Like make the local area end up like Flint, Michigan, Destitute. But I wouldn’t leave anything that the US had built or paid for either.
I’d do the same to Rota, the naval base.
Nothin that the US built should be left for the use of the spaniards. No US money spent in their local economy, nothing left of the installations but rubble.
I am sure that the folks in Poland would welcome the US, and likely pay for an airbase and a port for the US navy. Probably other European nations as well.
England too should get the treatment. They also played games when it mattered, even if they capitulated later.
It’s one thing not participate, it’s another to deny the use of a base that the US mostly built.
They need us, more than we need them.
Teach a (painful) lesson. It won’t be missed by the rest of NATO.
