Why should the US pay for the rest of the world (yet again)?

This time, it’s diesel:

Why Blocking U.S. Diesel Exports Could Make Fuel More Expensive

Lots of excuses as to why the US should sell it’s diesel to the rest of the world, even though it makes the pricing in the US abnormally high.

Since we have the excess refining capacity (and Europe and other countries don’t because of “Green Policies and other reasons),  the US is a net exporter of diesel…and yet the arguments are all about how we shouldn’t stop sending diesel out beyond our borders so that the price of diesel elsewhere in the world is lower….But our market price is higher.

As it is, we subsidize the entire rest of the world in medicines, our pricing is higher than anywhere else. Why should we also subsidize them for energy sources?

Fuck the rest of the world, We need to keep, and put, our people and our economy first.

If after 90 days there is a (significant) surplus of diesel and jet fuel and other petroleum fractions (as predicted) in the US, then (and only then) we should sell it on the world market. In the meantime, lets keep the pricing low for the US citizens.

Once again, it appears that President Trump’s advisors are Globalists….And that they don’t have the US citizens welfare at the top of their priorities.

ETA:

Of course, the shrill arguments from the rest of the world are getting ever louder as it looks like the ban on exports might happenhttps://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/The-Hidden-Tradeoffs-of-a-US-Diesel-Export-Ban.html
