For the DNC types, and their lapdogs the Media. (But I am repeating myself)

We’ve been told, over and over again, by the DNC spokesweasels and by the CNN/NBCSN/CBS/ABC etc that Biden was fully cognizant and his falling and wandering and such were always explained away with some excuse or another….. But this time the world, the American People, got to see the terrible display of senescence and cognitive decline on full display. They can no longer hide it, and in displaying it, they broke their credibility with yet another segment of the American People,….and that loss of credibility is in the segment of voters they needed to win over.

The question now comes also: Is Joseph R Biden competent to stand as President?  He was adjudged as not competent to stand trial over the Classified Document thing, but that was quickly buried. And now, despite juicing him to the eyeballs for the debate, he fell apart halfway through. His Cognitive Decline is apparent. Who is running the show? Even diehard DNC voters are asking this question today. (I witnessed it myself, a staunch Democrat voter, good Union Man…voted as the Machine told him, questioning things today. He would not have done so yesterday. Still won’t vote for Trump, mind you, but his faith in the Party is shaken….badly. ), He isn’t sure if he can believe what they tell him now, nor the folks at his preferred news outlet, CNN. He isn’t sure what to think now, his world is broken. And he’s rather upset about it.

I doubt he is the only one either.

Since the first debate is over, I have several questions and observations:

Firstly, Trump at least looked lucid. Biden much less so. Trump looked competent, Biden did not. Trump was himself, both good and bad. Biden looked like a pathetic, senile, weak old man who couldn’t keep his thoughts together. Even the Media can’t fail to admit this. They are admitting it this morning.

So who are the DNC folks gonna run instead of him?

Second, Trump, while he acquitted himself well, (or at least better than Biden) still showed his same behavior. Will that be enough to keep the people who dislike him from voting for the man with all his faculties vs the man who is senile but wears the DNC mantle despite his failure to show he is fit for any leadership role?

I do think that Biden showed his inability to be the current president, much less the NEXT president. I think many folks, after watching the debate, are wondering who exactly is at the helm of the country RIGHT NOW

We have, at best, a pair of elderly men. One well past his ability to lead and another likely approaching that stage. Do we really want either of them?

ETA:&:38 AM Central: Gail King, of CBS, just said “We need to take his keys away”. Wow. They actually used the words “Step Down” as regards Joe Biden.

Of course, one wonders if all of this is scripted, and they are trying to sell us someone else,….

8:10 CT:  Biden IS wired. He’s losing it, losing focus. He’s blinking when he’s talking like he’s trying to remember…..and he’s failing.

This is a terrible thing they are doing to an old man. Terrible. It’s sad, and disgusting.

8:20   Trump has the right of the abortion debate. Biden doesn’t even know his facts.

*Have you noticed that Biden keeps looking down as if he is reading something on his lectern? And he just got confused between the immigrant and incest. Biden just lost it. Skipped a track. The moderators cut him off early.

Have you noticed that the camera angles are such that you never get a close look at Biden’s left ear? Are they hiding an earpiece?

At least Biden is back on track.

8:25 Biden is absolutely unconnected about the border. Either he is lying or he is totally uniformed. He’s losing it again. His rebuttals are weak and wavering.

8: 34 Trump makes good points about Afghanistan, about Ukraine, and Hamas/Israel. Biden’s response is confused and weak. Very confused. Trump looks good, Biden looks poor and confused. This is a sad showing from a confused old man.

8:38  Biden’s response to the Hamas/Israel war shows he is having a hard time getting on the right track. His preprogrammed response is wandering and confused. (It’s almost as if he had the questions given to him beforehand so he could memorize a response….but he can’t stay on track.) Trump blew it in his response on Israel. He pissed off both sides. Biden can’t keep Israel and Ukraine straight. Trump failed his response too though

8:45    Nice setup for Jan 6th to slam Trump. He’s sidestepping it though. The 10K troops is a big deal. Biden keeps repeating the same tropes that are old and essentially everyone knows are lies. Trump shows strong here. Biden just looks weak and old. He repeats statements that he has to know are lies.   Trump at least can do a decent rebuttal. Biden’s fake outrage is feeble.

8:51   Biden fails to answer the question regarding the American voters who vote for Trump. Brings up old stories about Charlottesville. Can’t do more than repeat the stories about both that and Jan 6th. .He seems confused and struggling.

(I still think we should have had drug tests for both candidates) The networks should have gone “Side by side” like they do for auto racing instead of cutting away…

8:59  Of course, we gotta use Black Americans to show how much the Democrats have done something for the, (But, let’s face it, the issues with Black Americans are, mostly due to Black American culture and behavior). Trump’s response about inflation is a real blow, as is the illegal immigrant comment towards the jobs that they are taking from Black people. Again, Biden gets confused and rambles, as if he is a confused old man. Funny how the moderators just skipped ahead there. Trump won’t let it go either. He’s responding with facts and thinking on his feet.

9:05   And again, Biden loses his track regarding Black College funding, He’s wandering. He’s repeating the same climate bullshit. Trump is sorta wandering to though, but it isn’t due to being confused. Biden is again, wandering.

9:10 Of course, Biden would say “Fair Share” it’s been a Democrat cry as long as I have been alive. He’s gonna attack the “Rich” . Social Security is failing but not because it’s underfunded, it’s overspent. At least when it comes to Social Security Biden was able to stay on point. Trump not so much. But Trump at least appears lucid. His statement about illegals getting Social Security and Medicaid is on point. But he’s starting to repeat himself. Biden’s response is, again, rambling and off topic. He’s repeating himself as well.

9: 15  Trump failed to answer the question. but his statement about the Afghanistan debacle was a solid hit… as was the statement about the border folks also. Trump is wandering though. He needs to be more clear. Biden’s response is weak and idiotic and repetitive. Both sides appear to be running out of prepped statements. Neither side had a response regarding child care. Biden is starting to grin like a confused moron or a man with dementia.

9: 20     “Manchurian candidate” Hah! A poor response to the addiction question.  Biden, again, had a wandering response. Confused. Canned. Trump, however, is less than on point, trying to get his bullet points in.

9:  24  The age question is a good one, but Biden didn’t answer it. He too is trying to get his bullet points in. Nice job of the Moderator to prod him to use his time and to get his other statement in. One might think Biden’s drugs are wearing off….Trumps answer is a hard hit that Biden refuses to take a cognitive test. Trump at least, answered the question. Biden is lost in his response.

9:30   Trump’s response is good, regarding “political Violence” “If the election is free and fair, I want that as much as anyone”.  Fair answer. But then he returned to trying to make his points.  Fail.    Biden’s rebuttal is just as poor. His memorized statement is poorly delivered. Makes him look old and confused.  R=Trump too is trying to give canned responses “If they are fair and honest” . Biden actually had a somewhat cogent response to Trump’s answer.

9: 39    Closing statements: Biden first: He seems to be unable to be clear or even make a bold showing. This, above all, should have been clear and cogent. Biden is stumbling and failing. This, one would think, would be the most practiced and well done part of the whole debate.  Trump’s statement is, at least, well delivered if poorly composed. Trump appeared to have all his faculties (as much as he ever has, anyway). Biden did not seem to be all there.

Honestly, The process was a lot more fair than I expected. I have no idea what the post debate commentary will be, I’m not gonna watch it.

Seems to me that Biden sure has a lot more “spring” to his step, and seemed to walk more like a person not suffering from old age/dementia/ He seems more alert/more aware  and more together walking around as he came back from Camp David.

Perhaps there is another explanation, but I think he’s been fed a cocktail of stimulants to make him more….together over the past week. I bet his ears are ringing like he’s inside a bell and his heart is ticking like an overwound metronome….I bet he can talk with electricity right now….

I liked the suggestion that Trump delay starting the event as long as possible so that Biden’s meds will wear off before the end of the debate…

Biden’s campaign responds to Trump’s request to take a drug test one day before debate

One would expect that, but if you read down a bit in the article, you can see that Speaker Mike Johnson (r) is running interference for Biden against Trump as well.

It’s funny, we drug test our athletes , many of our workers, our military, our pilots, even our truck drivers. But the leadership of our country is fighting to prevent drug testing of our President……

It’s not that they are cheating that bothers me, it’s that everyone knows but we can’t do anything about it, Much like the 2020 election debacle.

They know we know and they don’t care that we do.

Our only recourse is gonna be civil war, and I’d hate to see that happen.

If we can get the Presidential Candidates to do a drug test just before  (like minutes before) the debates. Like immediately before they walk out onstage. Each pees in a cup witnessed by the other and they hand the cups off to be tested. (Joe in a blue cup, Donne in red, of course). All testing witnessed and/ or performed by one representative each from each side. Announce the results after the introductions, just brfore the first question. Less than 10 minutes.

I mean, they have nearly instant pee tests that detect most classes of drugs,

It’s be interesting to see what they are on.

I’m bettin’ Biden is wired like a meth addict that just won the lottery. Trump. I dunno.

Of course, it’ll never happen though.

Things worthy of note: That fiberglass shell must be heavy, the rims were 6 lug
  and pretty heavy duty. The interior is all vinyl in the same colors as the exterior. Pretty plush.  If I hadda guess it is a truck or van chassis.

Just not the things you expect to see as you drive by. Lots of people stopping to take photos though. I guess I am not the only Geek out there.

I know it is out of focus, I was trying to get a shot, any shot, of the plate while this dude was speeding though the parking lot. Plus it is a cell phone pic, and that lens isn’t great in these situations. We are lucky it is readable(ish) at all

Those that use the “I can post anything I want because Free Speech!”  argument then  get all butthurt when someone uses Free Speech to criticize what they post. Sad they can’t see that.

It isn’t, as they claim (and they always fall back on that defense, don’t they?)  “Virtue Signaling”, I simply find it disgusting and insulting to those black, hispanic, and jewish folks that I know.
