Question for Donnie:

Trump claims he is gonna end taxes on Social Security and on Tips.

Nice idea, but he (the President) isn’t the one who decides that. Ideally it should be the House (if you bother to read the Constitution).

And if he does succeed in getting that legislation through, what is he gonna cut in the Federal Government budget to offset for the tax cut?

If he doesn’t cut at least an equivalent amount, the we will just have even higher inflation and a larger deficit.

Details matter.

  1. Social Security payments weren’t taxable until Reagan made them so. Somehow we got by though… Of course, we didn’t have tens of millions of illegal aliens to support at that time… maybe that’s where Donnie needs to start… Them, and the welfare bums. ‘Ever notice how SS is always on the chopping block be welfare NEVER is?…

  2. As president , Trump can offer up ideas for the congress , I believe that is what he is talking about. Or maybe he will take a plan from pedo joe’s college loan scam , and do an EO.

  3. How to “make” enough money to “pay” for the things from the gubimint.
First thing would be slam shut that border. Shoot anyone trying to assault our land.
Second thing is stop sending money “overseas”. Yean, yeah, you could possibly find some area that is in need of our money; so lets just stop funding that Uke/Ruskie war. ($107 billion; From the total $175 billion in U.S. spending, $107 billion worth of aid goes to the government of Ukraine.)
Third thing is; end the Dept. of Education. (The Budget requests $88.3 billion in discretionary funding for the Department of Education, a $15.3 billion or 20.9-percent increase from the 2021 enacted level.)
There how about that; $263 BILLION dollars that wouldn’t be flowing OUT OF OUR COUNTRY!!!!
So how does it feel now Mr/Mrs Taxpayer-feeling the burn yet?!!?!?

  4. Trump is a politician…just late to the game. Like all politicians he makes promises he knows he can’t deliver on. This is one of them. Much of what he is promising is dependent on a compliant Congress, which he is unlikely to have. And when he can’t deliver he can then blame Congress. Trump is the least evil of our political choices. Not the Savior many want him to be. Without a true miracle he is NOT going to win. And with a miracle and he does win he will be roadblocked at every turn by the swamp bureaucracy. At best a Trump win buys America four years of stasis before the commies regain full control and continue the destruction of America.

  5. Well, we could stop giving S.S. to illegals, which would more than offset the loss from taxes.

    Just for openers.

I’m pretty sure he understands the House has to originate the legislation, and that he only signs what Congress passes.

    • I’m not so sure Donnie realizes what his limits are when it comes to government.

Having said that, he is still the least bad choice of what we are given to choose.

  6. I’m pretty sure spending cuts are baked in the cake. I remember 1st term Trump when he was told he was behind in making political apporintments to offices. He smiled and said that is part of the plan – no worker, no payments made.

Musk took the axe to staffing X and it doesn’t seem to appear to be lagging. Government employees should notice this with alarm.

Jan 21, 2025: 2,000,000 government workers laid off indefinitely.
