DOJ posits that even though congress says that since they eliminated the tax on short barrel rifles and AOW’s, intending for that regulatory part to go away, the ATF can do what it wants.

Unless he shows some spine, something he has lacked when going against the Dems most of the time, I just can’t support him as a Presidential Candidate.

One has to be a leader first, and he just hasn’t done so as far as I have seen. He’s great at grandstanding in Senate hearings and being aggressive against a defenseless victim being questioned in the hot seat there,  (But have you noticed that besides a bunch of hot air, they never actually punish anyone for their misdeeds?) but real leadership? A spine?

Nope.

Not that I would ever, of course, condone violence……

But:

Is that the release of the Epstein files NOW, means nothing:  that at this point every bit of incriminating evidence regarding the “PeopleThatMatter” has been scrubbed and there is nothing to make any of the folks who voted  for the release (or the people who control those Senators and Congressmen) look bad. And yes, I include President Trump in that group.

All that the Justice Department had to so, all those years ago, was to give us the list of those who flew to the Island….flight logs or failing that, a list of the people that passed through the immigration system of the US Virgin Islands on the way to Epstein’s’ playground.

The powerful and influential people will have, by now, made sure that the important names were purged.

This is, at this point, really just show. The files have been hidden since 2019. Had they been released then, there night have been some belief in their veracity. As it is, they have none now. All we will see is the names of those people who were not influential enough to have their names removed
