No non-cleared/unauthorized flights in a 30 mile radius of the airport from basically dawn to dusk *by NOTAM (instead of TFR).
I checked with Flight Service to see if it was true or not.
There was, apparently, a broader area Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) but that was cancelled
There are no other restriction elsewhere in the areas affected by Helene as per Flight Service
Turns out, they spent a shitload of FEMA money on illegal aliens last year and this year.
I fully expect to find that they also spent it in Ukraine as well, if someone bothers to look….
Ukraine and illegals first, US citizens are at the bottom of the list.

Percentage wise, this is likely true.
However:
In terms of dollars, Billionaires pay an order (or more) of magnitude more in taxes . The top 50% pay 80% or so of the tax dollars paid….the top 1% pays more than 25% of the total tax dollars that the Federal Government takes in.

The ads (again, for how many election cycles have they successfully sold the lie to some people?) claim that the Democrats are the champion of the working people…
“Trump wants to cut taxes just for Billionaires, Kamala will cut taxes for working people” Yet in all of my lifetime, I don’t think they have ever done that. Raised taxes? Yep. Cut them? Nope.
I have no affiliation with this company, except that I own their product.

It’s funny, really, watching the media try to spin things.
No matter how you slice it, Vance looked much better than Walz.
And the moderators (again) failed to be impartial. They just couldn’t help themselves….they “Fact Checked” Vance, they all but led Walz on how he should respond,

Vance looked Presidential(ish)….Walz looked like the nice gentleman from next door who is a third vice president of a failing bank from the far side of town. Nice guy, but not a leader.
It’s funny how the media whores are still trying to spin the last presidential election….who won, who got the votes, etc. They keep trying and no-one believes what they say…in fact, their denials, their “Fact Checking”, is becoming a bit more shrill and pro forma, and it appears that even they don’t believe their words. No matter how many times they state that “Donald Trump Lost The Last Election” they just can’t make anyone with more than 2 working neurons believe it. Their continued denials reinforce the belief that he didn’t. And their continued attempts to deny the Hattian issue in Ohio has become comical at this point. ….they are getting ever more vehement about it, much like the last election, as if denying something even more harder will make it go away…..(It won’t).
I doubt that the VP debate changed many minds though. Those who were gonna vote Harris -Walz are not gonna stop making excuses for their candidates, and those voting Trump-Vance are secure in their choice.
I mean, it was one thing when it was a “Terror group” that the Nation-States could deny funding or other connections to…even though everyone knew that it was the Iranians, possibly via the Syrians, that were funding Hezbollah….
But now, when Iran is directly firing missiles against the Nation of Israel, it is an act of war….Nation to Nation.
So what does Israel do? Attack back in kind? Missiles are, really, an ineffective weapon of war except in special circumstances…otherwise really still just a terror weapon.
Boots on the ground? Hard to do, hard to supply, harder to make effective.
Other methods lead to lots of escalation….Nukes are a bad idea (even if Israel wanted to confirm that they have them (we know they do, but no one can prove it) as they are a major escalation and a messy device to use, not only for the combatants but for the rest of the world as well.
But they can’t just sit and allow more and more Israeli citizens to be killed in unprovoked attacks.
I really think they are trapped, damned if they do, and damned if they don’t.
Were it me, the largest Mosque in Iran would be rubble this same night, along with the Iranian Parliament building.
Then wait. see what happens.
