Tornadoes south of I-80 in both Illinois and Indiana. Basically south of Chicago and the areas south of Lake Michigan had a large tornadic supercell that ran for about 60 miles.
The weather presenters though: Not only were they unaware of the areas south of Chicago (and had likely never been anywhere near those areas) , but at one point said:
“Good thing that no one lives in all this farmland so there isn’t much to damage“…Showing that they had no idea how many people live outside cities…
Tornadoes in Indiana last night both north and south of us. US 30 was not a place I wanted to be last night.
