Well, That was harsh

Donald Trump, in the State Of the Union speech, just asked all the congress critters to stand up if they believed their job was to represent the interests of and protect the US citizens rather than illegal immigrants.

Almost no Democrats did so. They chose not to stand for the American People. Think about that.

I find that both sad and disturbing. Our Congressmen and Senators were willing to demonstrate that they were unwilling to choose the welfare of their American Citizen constituents over illegal immigrants. They should be ashamed of themselves.

That single act should get them voted out next election.

Add in the transgender issue, where nearly no one on the DNC side supported that either, and it appears that Donnie is right when he said “These People Are Crazy!”

They are certainly not supporting the mainstream Americans…those people whose values, work, and culture made the United States of America what it is today.

ETA 06:34 AM CT : If you haven’t seen the clip, watch this first 30 seconds. See who sits and who stands

There ya go. And it’s PBS, so you know it’s not some AI generated deepfake.

  1. EPIC TROLL live for those watching. I doubt you will see that played as a clip on the morning shows.

  2. The first American Revolution was triggered by “Taxation without Representation”.

The Democrats just shouted out with their behavior “We don’t represent the people who voted us into office.”

    So, here we are. Again.

  3. The first I heard of it was here.
Anyone with two brain cells and a synapse knows that the CPUSA (D) is out to burn it all down by any means necessary.
They will hoist the hammer and sickle and expect to be loved.
That’s not how that works comrade.

  4. So sad

Hatred of the President overrides the representation of the voters and the people of the United States of America.

  5. We do owe the democrats a word of thanks for providing excellent material for midterm election ads. This is devastating for the left.

  6. Standing or sitting at a SOTU is not a vote, a bill, or an oath violation.

It’s a reaction to how a statement is framed, not whether someone agrees with a principle in the abstract.

If physical demonstrations are dispositive, then applauding tax curs would equate to endorsing deficits, cheering military funding = endorsing every war. Sitting during rhetoric = opposing the Constitution.

No one actually believes that standard—except when it’s politically convenient.

Democrats didn’t physically demonstrate loyalty to immigrants.

They refused to validate a false choice designed to generate clips, not solutions.

It was more about appealing to the hunger for symbolism than about what actually protects Americans.

    • Dance all you want, you know, and I know, exactly what happened that night.
‘Tis interesting how you framed things with such false equivalencies: Tax cuts equal deficits…..not
      Military funding equals war….not
Funny how you think, but that is what I would expect from a slavish follower of the DNC Rhetoric who repeats what they tell him to say and think.

The Dems chose to NOT support their constituents. They chose….poorly.
