I mean, if we have to shut down our parks and such, why would we need to have these ex cops running around parading in their tactical gear if we can’t have all those other agencies doing their jobs?

How about you tell us how you intend to deal with this by kneecapping the people that have been elected to deal with it? As it is, your nation is on the precipice of a full blown financial meltdown. What do you think is going to happen when the free health care, free housing, free food, free medical, free education and all the other goodies illegals are stealing from the American people – is inevitably cut off?
I’ll make it easy for ya: illegals can either self deport – or ramp up current levels of criminality. My personal opinion is that of the fire warden in charge of a wildfire. You are going to have to burn carefully controlled portions of the forest in order to save the rest. Your role in this – in my opinion – is that of Gavin Newsome in California’s problems with their fire problems: you’ll sit there and blame Orange Man Bad for the lack of water in the fire hydrants, the empty water resevoirs, and the incompetent people you put in charge of handling the problem. It doesn’t pass the smell test.
We allow the cops to break the laws in order to enforce them. Mistakes will be made when they have to do that… so it is in the best interests of everyone not to be there trying to hinder the cops when they are trying to do their jobs. I would argue that you should be trying to help them do what they are mandated to do.
At this point, sanctimony and self righteous scolding and virtue signalling is the same as adding fuel to an already problematic fire. Not saying you are wrong, I don’t like any of this either. But we can look at the situation as it is, or how we wish it was. and You have been doing the latter for decades now and things have decayed to the point where ugly choices have to be made. Do what needs to be done – or you won’t have a nation to save.

Secondly, cops have limits, else we have anarchy. If there are no limits to cops behavior, then we get a government that is not for the people, that doesn’t have to stop and can beat anyone to death, break into anyone’s home :In the name of the Law”…that can search you or your car or your workplace without a warrant and can arrest you for no cause. That’s why we have limits on police, to keep them in check.

If you’d bothered to watch the video you might have noticed that small detail.
