What was once a parade celebrating the equality of the gay population has since become a demonstration of the worst part of the gay lifestyle….a bunch of men wagging their junk out in public, and a bunch of others buggering each other in the bushes and alleyways. And the city and the police allow this behavior that they wouldn’t allow at any other time from any other group of people.
Their behavior is enough to turn even the stomachs of people like me, who really doesn’t care what they do as long as they don’t do it in public.
The Gay/Pride community needs to get a grip.
It is my belief that people turn to a gay life-style for various reasons. There is no one-reason-fits-all.
For some of them, it is because they get a childish glee out of the cheap-thrill of being able to horrify/offend others. Often, those “others” are successful and the gay person who feels powerful offending them is otherwise very envious of those “others”. They get rush out of twisting the nose of “the man”.
Not a recipe for success.
A lot of truth in what you say.
The other behavior is that they just do what they want, when they want, without the filter of societal behavioral expectations. Instant pleasure.
I wouldn’t care, but seeing men buggering other men in public isn’t my idea of a good Sunday. I don’t care what they do, just about what they do IN PUBLIC.
