Sounds like Indiana BMV

They seem to go out of their way to hire people with cognitive disabilities and poor judgement and with no critical thinking skills.

  1. In a similar vein, I ran into a situation at an appointment with my healthcare provider. I am retired military covered under Tricare. The receptionist asked to see my military ID and also my driver’s license so she could verify my identity. When I asked why she needed the driver’s license when she already had an ID with my photo she replied the military ID was in effect just my insurance card. I can only suppose she was following Procedures That Must Always Be Followed and all individual judgment/discretion is verboten.
