And there ya go…the start of the US conflict in the Middle East:

Next will be Troops Occupying some spaces for Security….

Then things will spiral. It’ll be Muslims against the West….

The U.S. military on Wednesday said American warplanes struck a weapons storage facility in eastern Syria that officials said was being used by Iran-backed militants responsible for dozens of drone and rocket attacks against American troops in the region over the last three weeks.

“Today, at President Biden’s direction, U.S. military forces conducted a self-defense strike on a facility in eastern Syria used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and affiliated groups,” Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said in a statement. “This strike was conducted by two U.S. F-15s against a weapons storage facility. This precision self-defense strike is a response to a series of attacks against U.S. personnel in Iraq and Syria by IRGC-Quds Force affiliates. The President has no higher priority than the safety of U.S. personnel, and he directed today’s action to make clear that the United States will defend itself, its personnel, and its interests.

“The United States is fully prepared to take further necessary measures to protect our people and our facilities. We urge against any escalation. U.S. personnel will continue to conduct counter-ISIS missions in Iraq and Syria,” he said.

  1. Iran formally declared war against the US in 1979. Any and all strikes against them are justified and long overdue.

  2. Wonder if ANY of the pro-hamas protesters will offer to fight alongside their hamas terrorist brethren? Ya, know in a show of solidarity……

  3. Maybe all who identify as something other than he, she can be sent over to hold the bullets.

  4. It’s already been Muslims against the West. It’s just the West hasn’t been responding nor seriously fighting back.

The US and the Marines still owe Hezbollah and the Mullahs for the Lebanon barracks bombing, not to mention for William Buckley and William Higgins.

  5. We’ve been blowing things up in Syria since the 20-teens under two prior presidents, as well as the current imposter. It has resulted in nothing but dead Syrians, not WWII.

Including when Trump blew the living dogshit of out of Russian aircraft, and Russian mercenaries, twice, to make the point. Seven years ago, IIRC.

The information regarding all of that is searchable on the internet.
    Just saying.

That’s not saying things cannot escalate, but the odds favor the status quo, not global thermonuclear war.

This strike is simply the cost of doing business.

    • I am well aware of the history, thank you. But having a president/Commander in Chief even weaker than Carter makes me kinda nervous when it comes to things like this.

I’d really prefer that our country does not get any further involved into this morass. Like a land war in Asia, there is no good outcome.
