I have had similar advice given to me….which is why I often “Make the chili”.
You can read the entire post at Woodsterman, but I will post a bit of it here…
A good friend of mine unexpectedly lost his wife. A couple months later we were golfing together, chatting about nothing. We golfed a few more minutes when he quietly said, “Make the chili.”

So think about it….take the time to “Make the Chili” while you can. Enjoy the time that you have left with those that you love, Do what makes them (and you) happy if you can…while you can…. If they’ll let you.
Time doesn’t run backwards.
