How reporters twist things

So CBS is reporting on things one year after the Supreme Court struck down Roe V Wade..

Now I’m not gonna get into the politics of the decision…But I think it was a good legal decision….States can make their own decisions.

Having said that, I gota say that there is one thing I noticed about the story:

The CBS reporter kept using the phrase “Constitutional Right to an Abortion”…

Odd, that. I’ve read the Constitution Cover to Cover many times. I never saw any part of the Constitution that could in any way be construed to, or even twisted into, a right to abortion.

But I guess they believe that if they say it often enough, people will believe it.

  1. As I recall, the Constitution mentions unenumerated rights but doesn’t mention anything for enumerating a right except an amendment to the Constitution. Absent that, it ain’t a right.

  2. The Leftist Dictionary:

    “Constitution (n.)”
    1. Fancy name for REALLY OLD toilet paper.
    Syn: Charmin

Then again, what can you expect from a group of ideologists who don’t even know that the United States is NOT a democracy, but a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC…

We DO have the RIGHT to LIFE, LIBERTY, and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. That being said, abortion is NOT constitutional right. On the contrary, those who practice abortion are depriving the unborn of THEIR rights!
