Dude gets the treasure his grandad buried when the Russians invaded….

Treasure hunter uses his father’s hand-drawn map to find buried silver – 80 years after his Polish family buried it in remote forest while fleeing WW2 invasion in what was Poland but is now Ukraine

I guess he figured he was out of time and it would be Russians that invaded again, so he finally got off the dime and began searching….before it became a part of Russia once more.

(We know it was Poland, then invaded by Russians, then Ukraine, so apparently the land changes hands often…..)
