Watch the videos in the link. Everyone tried to ignore the guy while he threatened them with an Axe (a hatchet, really) hoping he wouldn’t hurt them.

They were defenseless if they were following the law …while he threatened them and smashed furniture in a rage.

Indiana? Yeah, not so much. Threatening people with a deadly weapon (that hand-axe) is grounds to end up perforated and approaching room temperature. In any crowd of more than 10 people there is likely to be at least one armed individual. In some places  everyone will be armed.
