I wonder if we really want them?
I mean, all these new refugees from South Africa….These are the ones, the white farmers and business owners who weren’t smart enough or forward thinking enough to leave when they had their chances years ago.
Do we really need more short sighted refugees coming her into the country?
Overheard at breakfast:
“The Mexican Nay ship wreck in New York? sad, but it shows that perhaps the Mexicans should stick to wading across rivers instead”.
Poor taste, perhaps, but funny, nonetheless. I may have spit my coffee across the table.
That must have been a fairly sophisticated bomb….
I mean, whoever built the bomb that was used in the attack on the Palm Springs Fertility Clinic did a good job.
If you look carefully, you might notice that the force of the explosion was almost entirely unidirectional. Not out to the sides so much, but almost exactly and entirely forward. (look at the overhead photos)
This was a fairly sophisticated engineered device. Not just a gob of explosives in a car.
class vs no class
So Joe Biden has cancer….Prostate cancer that has, sadly for him, metastasized in his bones.
Trump and Melania had some class in their statement
The Obamas? Not so much. Michell showed (yet again) that she has no class at all..
I am sorry for an old, senile man who is likely to find this the cause of his demise.
Like everyone else hasn’t thought that for years….
probably true

Just sayin’

Can someone explain to me
How, except for Character Assassination, the current testimony in Sean (P-Diddy) Combs’s trial is relevant to his criminal charges?
He is accused of/Charged with Racketeering, Sex Trafficking, and Transportation of Prostitutes.
How is the testimony of his girlfriend, who chose to stay with him for over 10 years and who willingly participated in the freaky stuff (and it was, apparently pretty freaky), relevant to his criminal trial? ETA: She claims she didn’t leave because she “Didn’t have the resources to leave”…..that should show her character right there.
This is similar to the other trials wherein someone chose to attack a rich black man who wouldn’t toe the line, I think. They destroyed the reputation as part of the punishment.
This testimony is not about the crimes, but rather to make him look bad. A real judge who was looking for the truth would question the relevance or would not allow it.
Well, that was a fun challenge:
Showed up at the range for the normal Tuesday morning shoot.
The wind was less than 1 knot, and the skies were overcast but no rain, so we chose to shoot at the 50 yard outdoor range, rather than the indoor range, for the precision paper punching….
I used Vera II, the red white and blue 10-22 clone (No Ruger parts but the magazines)
We shot the targets bottom right to top left (yeah, I know, that’s not the correct way) then shot the staples (3 on each side) then the numbers under the targets, center then up, then down.

I didn’t think it would be a challenge, but then came the kicker….4 minutes for the entire target, 75 rounds, 5 per bullseye, then one each all the numbers and staples..
The time frame got to me. I did ok on the targets, did OK on the staples down each side, but rushed too much shooting at the numbers as I knew time was running out.
I missed 1 staple, bent but did not remove another so no score there, and missed 5 numbers and ran out of time for the other two…
All in all, I am OK with the target as a whole, but I should have (and can do) much better…psychological factors played as much as my rushing…and still I ran out of time.
It was a good challenge and a lot of fun. No prizes, just bragging rights.
A good way to spend a Tuesday morning…friends and firearms.
