The assassination attempt happened because Biden showed his true level of competency at the Debate, and they had no choice. That failed, so the folks that make such decisions have to get rid of him in an attempt to replace Joe with someone who can at least make a showing…as it is, Trump is winning beyond the Margin of Cheat at this time.

The fun of owning a 40+ year old airplane…..
The air conditioning in the 340 is not functional. (It’s kind of a strange design…a hydraulic pump on the engine drives a hydraulic motor elsewhere that drives the compressor for the AC…and there is a hydraulic leak)
The plane is NOT designed to be flown in summer heat without functional AC. The airflow is lacking and it gets downright uncomfortably hot in the cockpit and cabin. For long trips, you can fly really high, and and (maybe) find cooler air, but in the midwest in the summer, you gotta go REALLY high. Sometimes climbing that high isn’t really practical for shorter trips. In my 182, when I had that plane, there was no air conditioning but LOTS of airflow so you made up for the heat with volume of air. Like sitting in front of a fan. Not so much in the 340. Imagine driving in a car using only the heat vents for cooling,. You can’t open the windows. It’s kinda like that.
Hopefully the (REALLY expensive) part will be here before Friday, when I need to go west for a couple of hundred miles.

It wasn’t a steeply pitched roof, People were walking on it after the incident without issues. Most roofs that are not on large city buildings have some slope. This metal shed building wasn’t terribly steep…..It wasn’t lie a Swiss Chalet or anything. Most people without a disability can walk on it, you can even walk on it after a few beers.
I think they are covering for the fact that they deliberately chose not to guard the roof, letting the shooter patsy have the time to set up so it would appear that he was the one who did the deed.
You know, and I know that this was a prepared assassination. Much like the death of Epstien, it didn’t just happen. We can’t prove it, but we know.
Looking more and more incompetent ever time they make an announcement. At this point, it becomes obvious what the people in charge expected to happen.
How little the press has told us about the guy that attempted to assassinate Donald Trump patsy blamed for the shooting? I mean, if he had been a republican (not just registered) we’d know his height, weight, last 12 meals, length of his manhood, clothing sizes, have all of his last 10 texts, they’d have interviewed all his neighbors, his classmates, they clerk at the corner convenience store where he bought his morning coffee. We’d know the type of car he drove, his favorite color, what he read, where he bought his clothing, the name of the gunstore where his dad bought the “AR type” rifle, have his last 2 months of social media, etc.
We have essentially nothing.

Also, I find it funny (strange, not humorous) that the FBI is now distancing themselves from any responsibility for the glaring fact that the roof was unguarded, “It was the responsibility of the local PD!”….the single closest vantage point, less than 200 yards from the principal they were supposed to protect….Somehow it was “overlooked” by the people responsible for security (Can they really be that incompetent?)….. It is really had to discriminate between total incompetence and malicious intent.
Lots of storms last night, lost of small damage. I only got the 70 MPH or so gusts. no obvious major damage besides a few limbs and some power outage for a few hours
West of me, it was pretty bad. a few tornadoes, but squall line thunderstorms are pretty powerful.

Of Biden, while obviously a piece where Biden was well prepped with answers beforehand, is sad. He is still mumbling and losing focus. Even in this “interview” (which is more like a stage play).
He is repeating most of the Media talking points about most subject like the Jan 8th protest, mostly lies. many times repeating the stories that have been refuted or simply proven to be false. This is flat out propaganda.

Yet they all applauded when Kamala Harris was chosen as Joe’s Vice-Presidential pick.
She is also unqualified for anything at all. Not a prosecutor, not a politician, not a vice president. She can barely speak, can’t put a sentence together, and is really only qualified for one thing, the reason she got where she is, by being on her knees.
If Vance qualified? More than the DNC VP choice, that’s for sure (But that is a really low bar, innit?)
Funny how those qualifications matter now, but not 4 years ago. .
I used to have an old plastic quart-sized Jack Daniels bottle that I used as an iced ta container when I was working a work party at the range, or doing a charity project or walking the beach. Sadly, after much use, it cracked and is leaking.
There’s nothing like working for a while, announcing you need a drink, going to your cooler, pulling out that bottle (full of iced tea) putting it to your lips and drinking down half the bottle when people are watching, Then putting the lid on and getting back to work without a word.
People just aren’t sure what to think.

If he waited, then the deaths and injuries of the spectators as well as the damage to Trump is on his hands.

The problem is that no one can verify it, so you are left with your confirmation bias.
