Here’s something to consider:

And it is indicative of what is wrong with the Left:

After WEEKS of being out there, the GoFundMe for Bethany MaGee, the poor woman who was set on fire in a Chicago Subway is at $510,000.

Yet, after only a day or two, the fundraiser for Renee Good’s family, the woman who played games with ICE agents and ended up getting shot for it (play stupid games, win stupid prizes!) was closed after it reached $1.5 MILLION .

Not one of those people who donated to support these professional agitators could be bothered to give a dime to a victim of a crime that was perpetrated by a person who was out of jail because of the Leftist judge’s philosophy on crime and punishment. But they would donate to a woman who FAFO’d with ICE (Yes, I think it was murder, and a Bad Shoot, but she chose to be there so I am mostly unsympathetic about the outcome)

Here’s a thought:

Hear me out:

The US (or at least Trump) wants Greenland..

Greenland is a Protectorate (sorta) of the Kingdom of Denmark.

The United States has Puerto Rico. . Puerto Rico is not a State, it is a commonwealth , more or less a protectorate (ish)  it is more or less the same status as Greenland.

I propose we swap them even up.

We here in the US really have no need for Puerto Rico.

Greenland is a Financial drain of Demark. Puerto Rico is a drain on the US.

Denmark lacks a place that is warm, has sun and beaches and such. The Unites States needs an island in the Atlantic that is covered in Ice and Snow much of the year where we can do whatever we want.

Puerto Rico has 3,424 square miles, but it has rum and sun and beaches, Greenland has 836,000 miles, but it is cold and windy. Pretty fair trade for the Danes.

Puerto Rico has 3.2 million people. Greenland has 56,000. Neither island pays their way, tax wise, so that’s a wash.

The Danes give up a lot a square miles of territory, but they aren’t using it, so there’s that. They get a shitload of people in this swap, and warm sunny beaches, which they need, and rum drinks and resorts in which to drink them. The Danes don’t have enough poverty and crime and corruption and poorly educated people that just can’t fix themselves. Puerto Rico has that in spades. Think of the possibilities. But the Danes do need a place to vacation in the sun…

The US gives up a bunch of people on a small island that do nothing for the US but complain and demand more aid to enrich the already rich. We end up getting a whole boatload of land that we don’t really need if we acquire Greenland.  We already have enough beaches and booze, so we don’t need PR for that. We also have all the crime we need, so we can spare the crime and poverty that is Puerto Rico….The Danes need both.

Win-Win all the way around.

Maybe, just maybe we can work a deal. I’d be all for it if we can get rid of Puerto Rico. Maybe we can pay Denmark to take ’em if we make the swap.

I dunno.

‘Twas pointed out to me…

that we, as general citizens cannot (legally) provoke a fight, then shoot someone and claim “self defense”.

Same same this stupid incident in Minneapolis.

While the idiot woman Fucked around and Found out, the ICE Agent (now named) cannot jump in front of a vehicle attempting to flee and shoot at it before the driver even has a chance to respond and then claim “Justified Force” because “Vehicular Assault”….

“ICE Barbie” and Tom Homan’s narrative not withstanding.

ETA: Even the “New” footage (some say BodyCam, but it looks more like a cellphone video to me) shows the officer stepping in front of the car as it starts to move, putting himself in harms way….(ETA: It was indeed a a cell phone held in his left hand)

And he was so “Afraid for his life” that he was able to hold the cell phone in one hand while drawing and firing with the other.  Seemed like he was pretty calm for a man who thought he was about to be run down by a “4000 lb weapon”

And all he had to do was take one more step to his left to be out of harm’s way. Which he DID after shooting three shots. Funny that.

Instead, he chose to draw and fire three shots (and it wasn’t that fast of a draw, he had  plenty of time to move). The more we see, the worse it looks for agent Ross.

Big brass balls

I gotta give the dude some credit:

So I get a spam call that I mistakenly answered thinking it was the plane broker in Georgia (same area code, same prefix) instead of what it was….

“Hey this is Chris with GA Tree Removal and Trimming. We are offering New Year Discounts”

I reply “You sick bastard, my brother Frank just died trimming some trees the day after Christmas in a terrible ladder accident…What kind of sick joker are you? (that sort of reply usually gets them upset and changes their attitude….I hate spam callers)

Dude comes right back: “We also offer bereavement pricing”. I was impressed. Balls, he has. I actually didn’t have a comeback for that.

If I were in Georgia and needed tree trimming, I’d hire them just due to the above

And that right there is a big part of the issue:

JD Vance thinks that ICE agents have “Absolute Immunity”

Anyone that thinks that (and apparently the Agents (at least some of them) believe it as well, based on their actions over the past few months) is both an idiot and a danger to our republic.

If there is no accountability then there are no limits to the behavior. Which is really scary.. Apparently Vance thinks that there are no limits for ICE.

(Even “Absolute Immunity” has limits, BTW, and Law Enforcement are not among those that have it)

The concept that Vance could even say that (much less believe it) disturbs me as I was considering him as a potential candidate to follow Trump. but that statement in itself is likely gonna be a disqualifier.

We always hear

“Let the courts sort it out”

And so we should expect to see the ICE agents charged with murder in Minneapolis and let the courts do exactly that.

That’s what would happen if it were a regular citizen, and not an ICE agent.

I must say I was appalled that Tom Homan said in National TV that there has never been a single incident of excessive force by an ICE agent to date.

It makes me wonder what it takes.

I gotta say

firstly, the protester didn’t belong there and was looking for trouble…and she got more than she bargained for.

Having said that, I saw a murder, plain and simple. If the police in Minneapolis had any hair on their balls, they’d arrest and charge the ICE agents (2 of them) with at least attempted murder. The first who shot through the window, and the second who shot at the back of the car as it tried to flee.

Go look at the video. I watched the whole thing.  The shot happened before the car moved. The officer is a murderer. The use of Lethal Force was not justifiable. “Weaponized her vehicle” is bullshit.

‘Tis interesting that one the one hand, Homan “doesn’t want to judge based on one video” but is willing to blame the idiot woman with attacking the officers with a car……..What a bunch of bullshit. He judges, just not his officers.

If that (either one of the agents) were you or me, we’d be in cuffs and charged with murder.

Plain and simple, this was not “self defense”…no matter how you or “Ice Barbie” tries  to spin it. It was murder. But that is what you get when you recruit from the rejects of police agencies.

But then again, the woman was complicit in her own demise…she chose to put herself there.

Notice one thing: The ICE boys just walked away, they didn’t try to do any first aid, nor anything else. They just walked away. That should tell you something.

Now Greenland (again)?

Apparently President Trump has claimed that he is interested in “taking over” Greenland, by force if necessary…..

I am all for the US having Greenland as a protectorate, or even a state, should that come to pass.

As long as the citizens of Greenland want that.

So far, I have seen nothing to make me believe that either the government nor the citizenry of Greenland are even leaning in that direction. They are an autonomous portion of Denmark, and thus part of a NATO ally.

Plus, if the US does it, then we cannot object when China takes over Taiwan or when Putin invaded another baltic country besides Ukraine.

And I don’t see where the US has lost anything in Greenland.

Thus I think at this point “Taking over” would be an invasion, and illegal.

Y’know….

The Somalian situation is a perfect example of the failure of the Liberal (read DNC) immigration policies:

By allowing the hispanic people to cross the border over the past 40 or 50 years, and allowing them to colonize, rather than assimilate, by making accommodations for them (things like spanish language exams for drivers licenses and such) by allowing radio and TV stations to transmit in Spanish rather than requiring english, they set precedent for today such that our latest bunch, the Somalis, continue their tribalist ways, leading to the latest tribe centered theft ..

By making excuses for the past 40 or 50 years for the hispanics behavior, they set precedent for the debacle we have today….setting standards of behavior so low and making excuses for them, that we are shocked (some of us, not me) when these people don’t act like our white european neighbors….because no one made them act like AMERICANS, but rather just visitors from another place who are living like they did back home.

Surprised when their values are not like ours, because they never had to learn ours, never had to learn to be part of our society.

Shocked when people from Somalia act like Somalians …but after all, we let the folks from Mexico and places south act like Mexicans rather than Americans, and the Somalis are no different. Why anyone is surprised baffles me.
